Is it A Trick?

Alex's P.O.V
"Hey baby girl" I said walking up to Marrgarett as we headed to my car.
"Huh, oh. Hi" she said bluntly, obviously distracted.
She would usually say "don't call me that, mr kiss up" or something like that
I got in the car and the only thing that made noise during the ride was the radio.
I was feeling a little uneasy.
"How was your day?" I asked
Silence. She didn't hear me.
We got to her house, and she just sat there.
"Margarrett. Hey Margarrett" I said waving my hands in front of her to get her attention.
"Hm? Oh, I'm home kay thanks," she said with no emotion in her voice
I stopped her from stepping out.
She turned and looked at me a little confused.
"What's wrong? You've been distant all day" I asked, a little to concerned for my liking.
"I'm fine just a lot of things in my head" she lied with her eyes drifting to the floor.
I sighed. She left into her house.
I wonder what's going on.

Margarrett's P.O.V
I don't know what's been going on. All day I was just trying to figure out what Tre could be hiding from me.
Does he have a disease?
Is he in a gang?
Does he have STD's?
Okay a little bit to far there, Margarrett. My inner self said
I know, but it could happen.
I mean, we're really close what could he be hiding from me?
I barley remember anything from today.
Alex.
I never heard him talk to me with that tone before.
It was... nice.
Alright that's enough thinking okay? My inner voice said
You're right I got homework, then I'll take a nap.

I woke up, turned on pandora and got ready for school.
I felt better after showering.
Alex came after I finished breakfast.
"Goodmorning baby girl" he said slightly smiling
I rolled my eyes at the nickname " I'm done telling you not to call me that. Anyway good morning"
"I see your no longer distracted today" I was closing the fridge, and before I knew it I felt his body pressed against mine. I would have stepped back but the fridge was behind me.
"I'm glad, so you can focus on me" he held my chin up while smirking.
"Aha, you wish" I said pushing him off me, and rolling my eyes.
I went to go get my back pack and we went to his car.
When we got in he just sat there staring at me.
This made me a little awkward, guys don't usually stare at me. Not from a close distance at least.
"In case you forgot how to drive, you start with the key in the ignition, then you turn, then drive." I said as if I was talking to a 4 year old on how to open a bag of chips.
He chuckled, and started the car.
what a  Weirdo.
We got at school and I was on my phone when we were coming out.
I didn't notice the stares,  I felt them.
Yes, that makes sense
I looked up and people were staring at me next to Alex, some girls started whispering something.
What the?
"Why are they staring at me like that?" I asked Alex
"They think we're sleeping together" he smirked
"What the hell? No we're not!, Why would they think that?" I asked
"Well you have been riding with my for 5 days." He said as if I was stupid
"Okay what does that have to do with anything?" I was now confused and annoyed
"Girls I smash with always ride with me" he said smirking
You people jump to conclusions Way to damn fast.
I'm not a slut and I definitely don't want to be known as the girl that smashed with Alex Williams, as one of his hoes.
" ugh" I said walking to my locker.
Soon Mary and Alicia came up to me.
"It better not be true" Alicia said practically yelling at me
"Girl, if it is imma have to slap you, until you come to your senses" Mary stated
"No. No . No. No. we are not sleeping together it's just what people think just because he's driven me to school for the whole week." I said reassuring them.
They seemed to have calmed a bit
"Oh THANK GOD" Mary yelled
"Good. Anyway, how are you holding up with him?" Alicia asked
"He's okay, he still tries to get at me. But, then there's times when he's actually nice, in general, ya know?"
Alicia raised an eyebrow " mmh no girl don't fall for the whole nice trick"
"Yeah, he seems suspicious" Mary said
The bell rang
"Well we'll talk to you at lunch, bye" Mary said
"Bye" I said
I thought 'bout what they said. They're right. I shouldn't put my guard down.
I walked to my class, and started my day.
