The Hangout

Alex's P.O.V
"Hey, baby girl you going anywhere tomorrow?" I asked as we headed to my car.
It was Friday and I didn't have anything to do tomorrow so I decided I and Margarrett could hangout for the day.
"Enjoying the two days I don't have to see YOU." She said in a matter of fact tone, while getting into the car
I started driving
"Oh come on, I was hoping we could see a movie. You know those...uh, drive to movie and watch movie in car things" I forgot what they called those.
"You mean a Drive-in genius?" She said sarcastically
"Yeah those" I rolled my eyes. I knew that, I just couldn't think of the word at the moment.
"Nope I'm good" she said
"Why not?" I asked
"...Cuz."
"Give me a good reason" I knew she was going to come cuz she didn't have a good reason not to.
Silence. We were at her house now, and she huffed out a breath.
"Fine I'll go, but only if I get to choose the movie, and this is NOT a date, it's a hang out got it?" she demanded
" okay, I got it , just as long as you don't choose some some fifty shades of grey porn shit okay?"
She lightly laughed, "whatever, bye" she got off and went into her house.
I went home and laid on my bed.
Her smile, was beautiful and seeing it made me feel a warm feeling in side.
I caught myself smiling.
What. The?
No, Alex . No. You are not catching feelings for this chick okay?
Your just going to simply get at her, and leave okay? My inner voice said
Your right, I really need to stop thinking about her.

Margarrett's P.O.V

"Okay so he asked you to go for a drive-in with him?" My boo Amy reassured
I had called her this morning and told her.
"Yes" I said drawing it out, trying to see what she was getting at.
"And you said yes?" She asked
"Yes, but I told him it's not a date, it's a hangout, and I choose the movie. "
"Alright, I'm cool with it. Just as long as your not letting your guard down. "
"Of course Girl, you know I got this. Aye I'll tell you how it goes later I gotta get ready by 10 we going to get lunch and go other places before the movie at 1"
"Alright bye girl"
"Bye love"
I put pandora on my phone, hit the showers . 15 minutes later I came out and re straightened my hair but put a little curl at the ends of them, just 'cuz I felt like changing it up. I put heat protectant on my hair, put concealer, mascara and eos on my face, and got dressed.
I put some skinny jeans on and a peach colored shirt that went right above my jeans- so it couldn't really be called a crop top, and topped it off with some
Black flats.
I went down to the kitchen where my mom was making breakfast.
"Ooh, going somewhere?" She asked all curious
I sat down to my already prepared meal, that was beside my mom.
"Just going to movies with Alex." I said lightly smiling, and devouring my pancake.
Her pancakes were the bomb!
"Ohh, okay I'm glad you two are getting along" she said smiling
"Yeah, so what are you doing all day mom?" I asked. My brother was still asleep and as soon as he got out of the house, he wouldn't be coming back till dinner.
"I and mrs. Williams, Sharon, are going out actually. We are going to the mall, then we would go to a museum, and other things" she said happily
I could see she was actually excited to have a friend to hang with, that wasn't me.
I was now finished with my pancake and drinking my orange juice.
"That's cool, I'm glad you found a new friend mom" I said looking at her and smiling
"Thank you honey" we hugged and I got my plates and washed them.
then the doorbell rang.
I opened it and it was Alex.
He was wearing a grey shirt with the words "just do it" and some jeans, with some Jordan 3 gray wolfs.
I took in what I saw and he actually looked...
Cute. Really cute.
I got out of my gaze and noticed he was still staring.
I smirked
"Like what you see?" I asked
He snapped back to reality
"Uh, er, are you ready?" He asked avoiding the question.
I smirked, he's weakening
"Ready, bye mom i love you" I yelled from the door
"Bye baby, I love you too" she yelled back
"So where are we going?" I asked
"You like music?" He asked
Was that even a question?
"Duh, who doesn't like music?" I said
"Me." He looked at me straight in the eye as we were sitting in the car
"See now, there's something's wrong with you, you must be an alien or some species, that's not human."
Mmh mmh mhh. Sad.
He lightly laughed "I'm just kidding" he was now driving
I haven't heard him laugh before.
It was cute.
Woah there Margarrett, first his outfit now his laugh. You need to calm your tits. Remember, he kinda wants to sleep with you? Inner me renounced.

"So you never told me where we are going" I said
"You'll see when we get there"
I huffed, and turned on the radio.
"CUZ BABY NOW WE GOT BAAD BLOOD, YOU KNOW IT USED TO BE MAD LOOVE, BUT BABY NOW WE HAVE BAAAD BLOOD HAY!"
"hey!" Alex shouted
"Hi" I laughed
"do you mind not yelling the lyrics? So my ear doesn't give out on me before I'm 80?" He asked, he looked slightly annoyed
I smirked, Good I was getting to him.
Payback bitch.
"Mhm. No"
"Oh ITS SO SAD TO THINK ABOUT THE GOOD TIMES YOU AND IIIII-, hey!!" I looked at him scrunching my eyebrows.
He literally just turned off my music
"Shut up loud mouth!" He said annoyed
I pouted and folded my arms "for a guy that fucks around a lot you sure don't know how to have fun." I mumbled
I saw his hands tense. Then it eased up, and he smirked,
"Alright then, let's have fun"
I got a little scared when he said that. We were at a green light and before I knew it, it was like fast and furious all over again.
"Alex stop!" I screeched trying not to get killed before my time
"I thought I was no fun?" He said smirking
" your fun okay! I just don't want to die! Just stop, please!" I pleaded
I saw my life flash before my eyes.
Like literally we were moving so fast, i saw memories of my life form on the window.
He finally went back down to speed limit, and my heart slowly did the same.
He laughed at my reaction
"Your such an ass" I rolled my eyes and looked out my window.
Very soon we stopped and we landed at a club named "Bells"
" ooh no, uh uh, I don't go to clubs." I said not coming out of the car
" this isn't any type of club, common, you'll like it" he said getting out the car.
Ugh fine.
I got out the car
" if i don't like it, I'm walking out" I said to him
We got in and it was a club alright. But not the kind with strippers and drunk men everywhere, it was sort of a teen hangout/ concert place.
"Wow" the place was decorated and it looked really nice.
There were teens here and there, and then a lady came up to us.
"Hey Alex, who's the beautiful girl?" She asked eyeing me
"Margarrett this is mrs. Bells, mrs. Bells this is Margarrett my friend."
"Nice to meet you" I said shaking her hand
"Pleasures all mine dear, you kids go on and have fun, I gotta get back to work" she smiled and left.
We sat at a table but we didn't order anything.
"So why are we here?" I asked curious
"You said you liked music, well here it is, a musical club were you can sing and here others sing too" he explained
"Oh wow that's cool" I said
" but for there sakes, you might not wanna sing." He said
I rolled my eyes,
"Whatever" that wasn't how I really sang. But I wasn't ready to start that conversation again.
We listened to beautiful songs, and I was really inspired.
We stayed there for a few hours then drove to In and Out, and got 2 smoothies, 2 cheeseburgers with 2 curly fries.
"I love food" I randomly said while drinking my smoothie.
He chuckled.
"I'm pretty sure everyone does" he said
" mmh , I was just making sure you did, cuz if not we would've had some issues." I sassed
He lightly laughed,
"Let's head out to the movie"
