James kept glancing across the great hall to a certain raven haired boy in green robes. He was reading a book that was propped up against a milk carton as he was eating his dinner. He felt James eyes on him and looked up at him. Regulus smirked at James before turning back to his book. James' eyes got wide and he blushed turning his eyes down to his food.

"Oi, prongs you okay?" Peter asked him. "Your face is really red." "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." "Prongsy cmon why is your face red?" Sirius said. "It's just hot in here." James said. He grabbed his water taking a sip as he glanced over to the Slytherin table seeing Regulus looking at him, Reg winked and James choked on his water. "Woah Prongs! Are you okay?" Moony said hitting James on the back "Yeah, yeah- *cough*- I-I'm fi-ne."

"Damn Prongs that was random as fuck." Peter said, "Yeah the- water went down- ahem- the wrong pipe." James glanced over at Regulus who was laughing with Evan and Barty, he looked over at James and started laughing harder. James tuned back into the Marauders conversation. Remus had a questioning look on his face. James waved him off trying to keep his focus in the Marauders

"So Regulus how long are you going to keep teasing James?" Barty asked. Barty, Evan, Reg, Dorcas, and Pandora we're all sitting in the boys dorm. "Half the time I'm not even trying to. He's just so easy to fluster." Regulus said. "Nigga, You need to go ahead and ask him out." Evan said. "I could tell you the same thing," Regulus said.

"Honestly though Reg, you're killing him. He's head over heels for you. You can just tell." Dorcas pointed out, "You need to put the poor guy out of his misery." "How about you put Marlene out of her misery." Evan said to Dorcas.

"Fuck you." Dorcas said flipping Evan off. "That's not what you were saying last night." "NIGGA! WERE BOTH GAY AS FUCK." "That ain't ever stopped anyone." Pandora piped up laughing her ass off. Regulus and Barty were both laughing with her.

--Later that Night--

"I'm gonna go to bed, I'm tired." James yawned. "Whyyy? It's only like 10." Sirius whined. "I'm tired? I don't know if you missed that part." James rolled his eyes as he walked up to their shared dorm. He went to shower and changed into sweat pants to get into bed. He heard a tapping on the window and saw a vaguely familiar owl. He let the owl in and gave it a treat grabbing the note off of its leg.

Was written in pretty hand writing. James couldn't place the initials just then but he'd figure it out when the person showed up.

About an hour later James had heard everybody get into their beds, with the exclusion of Sirius who got into Remus' bed. James waited until he heard snores to get out of bed and slip on a pair of sneakers, a crewneck, and his invisibility cloak. He grabbed his wand before quietly leaving the dorm and heading to the Astronomy tower.

He got to the Astronomy tower at 11:23, slightly early. He slipped his cloak off and walked to the edge of the tower looking out to look at stars, not really knowing what was what despite how many time Sirius had tried to teach him. A few minutes later James heard footsteps behind him. "Someone's eager to see me." Came the smug voice of Regulus Black.

Jame turned around pushing off the edge of the tower walking towards the him. "H-hey Reg, did you need something?" "Yeah I did actually." Regulus said walking toward James getting all in his space. Regulus delighted in the James' face burned up. He put his hand on James chest turning him around.

"So, you fancy me," Regulus stated matter of fact, as he walked James backwards, "Don't try to deny it, I know. And I'm pretty sure you think I just enjoy teasing you, but knowing how much of a hopeless romantic you are you probably figured out that I fancy you too." James spluttered, "w-what." "And since you won't make a move I will." Regulus finished as James' back hit the wall. He raised up in his tip toes and mumbled against James lips "Can I kiss you Jamie."

James could barley think right now. "Y- please" Regulus leaned in completely, kissing James passionately. He put his arms around James neck, running his hands through James hair, while James' hands found Regulus' waist. Regulus flicked his tongue across James lips being rewarded by James slightly parting his lips.

Before Regulus pulled back he nibbled on James lip. "Wh-whoa" James said his eyes slightly glossed over. Regulus smiled up at James, his face was extremely flushed and his hair was wild. "You look like you just got fucked, am I that good of a kisser?" "Oh, fuck off." James laughed. "You wanna be my boyfriend? Or maybe we can go on a date first?" Regulus asked.

"Yes, I'd love to be your boyfriend and go on a date with you. In that order." James smiled brightly.

"Also," Regulus said with a malicious smile, "You looked stupid as fuck choking on water."
