THE BATTLE OF DRAGONS: Auryn and the fate of Nagendra

' We've waited for so long.'
I block Nalani's attack, and again.
' Just wait a few more hours,' She says struggling. She attacks again, and so I block her again. I'm waiting for her to get tired, so I can strike properly.
'They are going to find us if we stay here any-' I jump when she tries to hit my legs. 'Longer.' I continue when I attack. 'It's a miracle that they haven't found us.' I attack with my sword multiple times, But Nalani dodges all of them.
' It really is, but I don't mind that we have to wait so long. You know that I don't like destroying things,' She says when she dodges my attack again. Our swords hit each other, and we wait who's going to let go first. ' Then you shouldn't be a Sergeant, Nalani.' Nalani is very strong, people underestimate her strength because of her personality. But she has a curvy, strong body under that harness. Just when I can't hold any longer she tries to kick me, so that I let go. I dodge her kick, turn around her and kick her from behind. She falls and manages to protect her face. I point my sword at her, and she sighs.
' I always lose to you,' she says disappointed. I offer her my hand and pull her up.
' Not always, you weren't careful. You should sometimes think while fighting.' It sound ridiculous, but Nalani relies on her strength, but I use my brain in combat.
'And you should work more on your arm muscles.'
' I'm pretty muscular, but no one had huge muscles like you.'
We start laughing, but then a knight named Kaida interrupts us. She brings her two fingers to her chest.
' Draco Domitor , the general wants to speak with you.'
Oh, He doesn't want to listen to my ideas, but I'll have to listen to him. Great. I follow Kaida. She is a talented dragon rider and a student of mine, even though she is older. He leads me to the camp of important people, behind the cave. My tent is also there, but Nalani sleeps with the knights. How odd, the sister of the king sleeping with the knights. Kaida leads me to general Hellion Kalon's tent. He sits at his desk and tells me to sit down.
' Draco Domitor, You were supposed to lead the attack. Plans has changed'
I couldn't believe my ears. What did he just say?
' Why? Who is going to lead the dragon attack?'
' The king sent Draco Domitor Soren Prevense. He will lead the attack. You've got another job.'
What does he mean with "job"? I wait for him to continue.
' Spy Elyse Falke reported that the famous Auryn Tyrell got sent to an important mission. She is on her way to Nagendra and she has no good intentions. The sick dragon queen can't protect herself , so you'll have to. You stole back the necklace from her, so you've dealt with her before. Find her.'
I can feel my blood boil. That stupid Auryn girl is going to harm Nagendra? Over my death body. She is the dumbest person I've ever met, she didn't even notice her necklace being stolen.
' I'll stop her. I won't dispoint you, sir. And Nagendra.'
'Miss Falke said that you can't harm her, or else she will stop spying for us. Auryn is like a daughter to her.'
Like a daughter?! Has that lady lost her mind? That's betrayal!
But then I start to realize that she has built a life there, so it is normal that she has a bond with some people. But why Auryn?
' And you can't take her down on your own, So i'm sending Kaida and Oren.'
' I can take her down on my own, Sir. She has the brain of a fish.'
'She can't be defeated. She has built quite some reputation. It's three knights and three dragons against one powerful knight and her dragon.'
The fact that general Kalon sees Auryn as dangerous and powerful makes me furious. He thinks that I'm too weak for her. I'll prove him fking wrong.
' I will find her, sir.'
' you can leave.'
I stand up, Bring my fist to my chest and leave the tent. Suddenly I stumble upon Nalani.
' Before you say anything, I'm a princess, I can eavesdrop my Draco Domitor and General.'
' You didn't had to eavesdrop, I was going to tell you anyway.' We walk away from the tent, and Nalani grabs my arm.
' I wanted to hear it myself, you tell everything in a bored way.' She smiles, and I can't help it but smile too. She is right about that.
' Don't be harsh on her, Elyse likes her, so that means she is nice too,' says Nalani timidly.
'Auryn?! A Whitesider? That Elyse lady clearly lost her mind. They use Dragons as slaves, let them hard labor and hit them with a whip. Do you think that Auryn is nice?'
'I don't think she is like that, Otherwise Elyse wouldn't tell you not to harm her.'
I don't care about what Elyse thinks. But I can't ignore general Kalon's orders.
' You don't know Elyse personally, you can't know anything for sure.'
Nalani nods, agreeing with what I've said.
' Okay, beat her butt, Rez!'
'Please say ass.'
'Sush! That's not appropriate.'
' We're talking about A whitesider.'
' But still...'
And so we continue arguing about saying butt or ass, making me forget my anger about finding Auryn, while the others are training or taking care of the camp. Typically us
