Sat at the piano, Adrien's hands expertly moved along the keys, striking softly and loudly, delicate and precise. Beside him, Adelaine had her violin proudly against her chin and shoulder. Bow in hand, she played her part of the duet with precision. Her eyes scanned the sheet music in front of her, giving herself a small smile when she was proud of a note or small flourish.

On Adrien's couch, Nathalie and Gabriel sat side-by-side as they listened to the twins and their music. Adelaine knew that if she had looked up, she may have found herself faltering. She kept her eyes completely on the music, watching as the end of the piece came closer and closer.

Taking in a deep breath while holding her bow away from her violin, she listened to quiet ring of the last key Adrien struck before silence took over the room. For a moment, she was sure her father was going to be critical of their playing together. Instead, as she looked over at him, he had an approving smile on his face.

"I've missed hearing you play together," he smiled at the two. "Your mother and I used to enjoy hearing the music throughout the house."

Giving a relieved smile to her brother, she set her instrument gently into its case. Standing from his piano bench, Adrien returned the smile she gave him. Carefully shutting the case of her instrument, Adelaine turned to face her father and his assistant.

"You both should continue practicing. Perhaps one day soon we could have a recital for the both of you. I'm sure your friends would enjoy that, Adrien," Gabriel suggested.

"Well, I have gone and played the keyboard for my friends when they've needed it for their band rehearsals," Adrien agreed before turning to his sister. "Granted, we play classical music together and they write their own music."

"They write their own music?" Adelaine's eyes lit up. "I really have missed out on all of the fun while I've been gone, haven't I?"

"If it's okay with you Father, I could take Lainie to the next band rehearsal I go to," her brother suggested, grinning at the small twitch upwards of their father's lips.

"Could you? I would love doing something like that," Adelaine agreed.

"I think that would be fine," their father gave a small nod, both twins turning to each other with excited smiles plastered on their faces. "Now, I need to go and work. You two did very well, I look forward to seeing you progress, Adelaine."

"Thank you Father," the twins seemed to be in perfect unison as they watched their father's tall figure cross the room with Nathalie at his side.

At the sound of the door clicking shut, the two turned to each other once more with smiles on their faces. Adrien made his way to his piano, shutting the key cover and tucking the bench in. Adelaine found herself wandering around the room, curious about its changes since she had left Paris. She found small stacks of different CDs, magazines, what seemed to be school projects, filled notebooks from the school year, and pictures with his friends scatted around. Taking a picture of him with his friends into her hands, she gave a small smile. There were the faces she had met and recognized, but there were those she didn't.

"Who are they?" Adelaine turned to her brother, watching his smile grow as he pointed out each person in the picture.

"This is that band I was telling you about," he grinned. "It's called Kitty Section."

"They look nice," Adelaine smiled. "You really made a lot of friends this year, didn't you?"

"I'd like to think so," he shrugged. "But, you'll meet them and trust me, they'll love you."

"That could be a stretch," she countered as she set the picture down.

"I don't think it is," he gave a smile. "You always had friends. People like you."
