[A/n:so um, ✨ writers block ✨ that's never fun to have, I'm sorry about the incredibly slow updates in my stories and I apologize bc this one will be short, I just dont know what to write next]

It didn't take long to see the Godzilla wanna be through the trees, you quickly started shooting at him, each dart had enough sedative to kill an elephant so it didn't take too long to get him down and transported back to the foundation,

You dreaded explaining your secret to your friend, you didn't want to burden him with that information, but after all was settled with 682 and the paperwork was finished he met you in the cafeteria and asked for answers,

You weren't willing to tell him at the foundation with so many people around, so you dragged him out to your car and drove to your favorite spot in the mountains,

Once you settled down on a few flat rocks in front of a river he started asking questions again, "okay why are you being so weird, what happened back there?" He asked

"That's the thing, I don't wanna tell you, it's not like I don't trust you but I don't want to make you choose between the foundation and protocol and me," you said,

"Y/n you know I would always choose you over protocol what are you talking about?" He asked concerned, you took a deep sigh and held out your hand, a little purple ball of light conjured in your hand,

His jaw dropped and he stared in awe at the little glowing ball,

"I'm an anomaly, I know I'm useful to the foundation and they wouldn't throw me in a cell like the other anomalies, but I've seen what it looks like to work here as an anomaly and it's not exactly good" you said, playing with the ball of light

"I can also manipulate people with my voice, that's how I got all those people to make a coordinated exit" you said, "I can make portals and stuff like that too, but the most important part is that I dunno how the foundation would react to you knowing and keeping it secret"

"Well, that explains a lot," he said, watching the river water rush past, "I should probably get home, birdie will worry," you said making a portal over the chair in your room, and plopping down in it,

You looked up and saw birdie looking at you like you grew two more heads, "I'm magic, don't ask questions" you said quickly getting up and grabbing a book from your desk and reading it, she shook her head and laid back down and went back to sleep,

It turns out birdie is a bad listener, since the second she woke up which was at lunch time, she was just a ball of questions,

When she got up "What happened?"

During breakfast "Why did you fall through a portal?"

While cleaning up from breakfast "How does that work?"

Watching TV "What else can you do?"

After the shows over "How long have you known?"

When your mother called "Does your mom know?"

When your phone got a notification from your work group chat "Do your work friends know?"

When you started reading a book "Where do you work?"

When you put the book down "Why did you never tell me where you work?"

During lunch "Why do you avoid questions about your work?"

After lunch "What do you do at work?"
"Is it dangerous?"

When you were drawing "What happened when I left?"

Cooking dinner "Why were you acting weird at the concert?"

Eating dinner "Who was that weird guy with sharp teeth?"

Cleaning the dishes "Why did you never tell me this stuff?"

Cleaning the kitchen "Why was it so dangerous to tell me this stuff?"

Watching another show "How do you do work and school with that job?"

After another show "No offense but how are you still alive?"

Going to bed "How many times have you made excuses when you were at work?"

You did your best to answer them all but she was insecure about the fact that you never told her, and it took days to convince her that it was to protect her, and not because you didn't trust her,

But by next week everything was back to normal, except for having less expenses, and more stuff, but John kept pestering you about telling everyone else about your abilities,
