Since you had promised your roommate that you would join her you had gotten dressed and dragged yourself out of your dorm on your one day off from work, to entertain her by going somewhere with her,

You pulled on a tight, form fitting gray shirt and a black pair of ripped jeans, with a rhinestone studded pair of black combat boots, your roommate had gotten them for you on your birthday, they were your favorite shoes, and you put on a cropped leather jacket to pull it all together,

"Y/n stop taking so long, Jesus, we need to go or we'll be late!" Your roommate called from the other room, "fine, mom!" You said, mocking her,

You were going to a concert for one of your favorite artists, you weren't going to admit it to her but you were actually pretty excited to see them in person, you had invited John, since he liked the same music you did, you picked up the phone to check your messages and found one from John

John:
"Hey I know we're going to a

concert, but like whos concert?"

"Bohnes, you know him right?"

"Yeah! I love him, I'll be
ready in about 15 minutes btw"

You walked to your door, "hey roomie ya ready?" You asked, "hell yeah, let's go" she said popping out of her room in a black crop top and baggy ripped jeans and a crap ton of body chains,

You chuckled a little as you spoke, "think you over did it on the chains there birdie?" You asked, birdie was a nickname you gave her when a bird landed oh her during a field trip in grade school,

She scoffed, "you can never have too many body chains" she said smiling at you as you two made your way out to your car,

starting the car, you got a bad feeling, you frowned for a moment before smiling again, if anything went wrong you could always protect your friends, there was no need to worry, you reminded yourself,

You pulled up in John's driveway, seeing kain peeking out the window, he noticed you caught him and stuck his tongue out at you, you smiled at birdie and flipped him off, you saw him scoff behind his curtaind and it made you laugh,

"What's so funny?" Birdie asked smiling with her eyebrow raised, "his roommate -another friend of mine from work- stuck his tongue out at me from the window" you said still laughing quietly, as John walked outside,

You had calmed down from your laughing by the time he got over to your car, he smiled at you and birdie before opening the door and jumping in the back seat,

"So this is your friend?" Birdie asked you, in that tone people have when they think they know something, "yes, friend I know what your thinking and it's not it," you said, glancing at her amused as you pulled out,

John was now laying across the back seat of your car, "your car seems much bigger without caden and kain in it" he said, "well, you are the only one in the back seat, and besides, I got this car because it was spacious"

"Dunno why an introvert like you would need a spacious car" birdie said giggling, "ok, psycho why are you giggling, I just don't like small spaces" you said laughing at her, John let out a little amused huff, since you had to deal with plenty of tight spaces before for work,
