Continuation of look me in the eye
You were never the same again, more closed off, you haven't really been in a real relationship since her. You didn't have the heart anymore. The only person you were close to, was Hailee. Even though she was somewhat close to Taylor, you trusted her the most.

"Man i thought you guys were written in the stars" Hailee said, rolling the dice

"Same.. i guess sometimes the stars are wrong."
You looked down staring at your cards

"Hey, dont beat yourself up. She made that decision to leave."  She out her hand on your back. She knew you still loved Taylor, but if you had the chance, you wouldn't have the heart to even look her in the eyes.

"Thats the thing, i still dont understand why she did that." You started biting the inside of your cheek. Usually when you did that, Taylor would softly caress your cheek, to stop you from hurting yourself, but she isnt here anymore.

Hailee looked at her phone

*Griffin*

"Y/n i have to go pick Griffin up"

"Yeah of course! Go, go." You insisted

"Okay, love you take care" she said as she turned away from you

"Bye." You waved her off

You walked over to the cabinet and grabbed a bottle of tequila, needing something strong, to numb, everything.

You took a glass from the table and poured the liquor into it. You swished it around and drank it at once, feeling the numbness rush into your body.

You poured another glass, and another, and another.

"Mmmmm..... Taylooorrrr youu sucksssss"
You slurred, grabbing your phone

You dialed her number, remembering it on the top of your head. But you hadn't called her or tried to contact her, because you felt like you didn't owe her anything, she was supposed to reach out and explain.
