Charlotte gets out

Charlotte was finally free no more being locked up like a caged animal and having to fight to stay alive.

Well, she still had to fight but at least now she had her twin daggers karma and fate back. Each one was deadly, stygian iron dipped in celestial bronze. A gift from her grandmother to her father, now given to her.

As Charlotte looked out into the bright street she could make out Gleeson Hedge, her satyr.

She almost ran back into the prison. The keyword being almost. How scary could Hedge be after she faced Lorca 'the rattlesnake' Mcgettigan and won in under four minutes. Lorca was built like a tank as well. Completely different from Charlotte's petite lean figure. Of course, Charlotte had been taught to kill monsters before she could walk, no mortal was any match for her

So why then was she scared of this tiny middle-aged satyr? Possibly because he was like a father to her. Possibly because she could see his club sticking out the window of the Delphi delivery service van.

Charlotte put her hands in the pocket of her signature sage-green trousers and stroud onwards. "O'Chance" She barely recognised Hedge speaking to her because after opening the van she was greeted with the face of Mr D. Her other father figure and god of wine on probation at camp.

Mr D was not someone she expected to see, he rarely left the camp's big house and whenever he did he complained about it for ages. However, she assumed he was here now to give out to her and do a bit of light complaining on top of it.

"Charlotte, never in my entire 700-plus years of existence have I ever heard of something so insanely awesome. Why the way you scammed all those people out of their money with only a 10-dollar bill amazes me
You take after me, I would even suggest you become my priestess. But alas the fates have different plans for you, my dear."

Whatever Charlotte had been expecting him to say that was not it. But she couldn't help but wonder what the fates had in store for her.

But alas it does not do to dwell on the future, but she knew the future had to do with the dark voice that whispered to her when she slept.

A/N
So that's chapter 2 done. What do you think of Charlotte and who do you think is whispering to her at night?
An Ethan chapter next so look forward to that. And once again would love your criticism or ideas
