Ethan's worst memory was of his aunt. Back when she was alive she used to tell him anything was possible no matter who you were or where you lived.
Aimi Nakumara or Amy as she went in America was a joy to be around. She was optimistic and always made Ethan feel like he belonged. She had an aura that gave off luck and optimism.
When Ethan was 10, he found his father stabbing her in their flat in Gardena. Ethan had left home that day and never looked back.
Until meeting Charlotte. Ethan believed Aimi's outlook on life was gone but after getting to know Charlotte better Ethan discovered something that chilled him to the bone.
Charlotte held quite a few similarities with Aimi but she had some of his father hidden deep deep down. He knew that want for revenge, that anger would not stay hidden for long. It terrified him to think that the girl was going to lose it. He had run from his father and he was scared he would have to run from her.
Which was why Ethan was in the attic. To save Charlotte's soul (and his) he had gone to see the oracle. Unfortunately, he failed to think ahead of ickle little Percy Jackson and was now stuck witnessing the big three's illegal sons' prophecy.
It was pretty boring if Ethan was being honest but the part that piqued his interest went along the lines of being betrayed by the one who calls you friend.
Now, Percy Jackson did not have a lot of friends. The ones he had could be written on a list. They included:
1. Grover Underwood
2. Chiron??
3. His dead mom
And the most interesting one
4. Luke Castellan
Now Chiron and his mom could never betray him so that left Grover and Luke. But Grover was obsessed with getting his searcher's license and Luke, well Luke had been acting very oddly since the winter solstice.
Could Luke Castellan be apart of something bigger something much darker than even the gods or would he betray percy by forgetting to pack him deodorant?
