I awoke with a start.  My breathing was rapid and I was sweating.  I looked down at my clothes to see I was still wearing Deo's old hoodie.  I could feel DogChamp lay on my lap.  I pet him as my breathing started to return to normal.  Taming a dog when I got here was a really good idea.  I hate having that dream.  It went away for a while but I guess it's back.

Once I had calmed down I looked at the clock on my nightstand.  It read 4:00 am.  Great.  I probably couldn't go back to sleep even if I tried.  I decided to just get up and get changed.  I put on my usual purple hoodie, put the hood up, and headed outside with DogChamp next to me.

I wasn't sure where I was headed; in all honesty I was just walking.  I ended up at cliff that overlooked a beautiful valley.  I sat down with my legs dangling off the edge of the cliff.  The night air felt welcoming.  I looked up at the stars, each one giving its soft glow to the sky.  This area would be a great place to build a cabin if someone wanted to.  I mean it's secluded from the rest of the world and it was peaceful out here.  No fighting, no war torn land, nothing but a fresh start.  Well I know what I'm doing today.

I looked up as the sky grew brighter.  The sunrise had a beautiful pink and orange hue to it.  It was calming after the way I had woken up today.  I got up as the sun continued to rise and found my way down into the valley.

I gathered what materials I would need to build a cozy little cabin then got to building.  I was almost done around noon so I took a small break to get some food for me and DogChamp.  I gave him his food but he wouldn't eat until he saw that I was eating too.  If I didn't know any better, I'd say DogChamp was a therapy dog.  I really do appreciate that he takes care of me and keeps me company when no one else does.  In all honesty I think I've gotten a little too used to being alone.  I didn't mind it though.

I finished eating so I got back to building.  It didn't take too much longer before I was finished with the main building.  Now I just need to do the interior.  I looked at my watch and saw it was 2:00 pm.  I could probably get the interior done today.  I went inside and got to crafting.  Soon I had a bed, nightstand, closet, kitchen, couch, and bathroom.  It felt cozy.  For the first time in years, I felt safe.

Just then DogChamp barked signaling that we should probably eat again.  I looked at my watch and saw it was 6:00 pm.  I pulled out some more food I had and we ate for awhile.  I decided that we should head back a few hours later.

As DogChamp and I were walking back to our house, I saw a bright light glowing in the distance.  I picked up my pace and when I got a few feet from the light I stopped dead in my tracks.  My house was on fire and Quackity was holding the matches.

"QUACKITY WHAT THE HELL?!!" I yelled as ran toward my house.

"Oops," he said with a laugh.

I ran through the door and into the burning building.  My thoughts were racing as I tried to get as much of my stuff as possible.  I pulled out Deo and Tommy's hoodies as well as a few changes of clothes.  I coughed as the smoke started filling my lungs.  I grabbed a few other random things before running back to the door.  I got out just before my house collapsed to the ground.  I fell to my knees coughing in attempt to get the smoke out of my body.  By this time people had gathered around my house trying to figure out what was going on.

DogChamp helped me to my feet as I stopped coughing.  I turned to Quackity, my body filling with rage.  I threw the backpack of my stuff onto the ground, ran up to him, and punched him the face.

"You bitch," I spat.  I felt two pairs of hands pull me off Quackity.  I didn't care who it was, my eyes were focused on Quackity and Quackity alone.

"I'm just surprised you weren't home," Quackity said while rubbing his face.  "No one ever sees you so I assumed you stayed home all day."

"You were trying to kill me?!" I shouted.  Myself and DogChamp would be dead right now if we hadn't been at that valley all day.

I could hear people murmuring all around me.  I finally took the time to see who was holding me back.  It was Punz and Sapnap.  I broke free from their grasp, picked up what little stuff I still had, and left.  I could hear my brothers yelling for me but I honestly didn't care.  I didn't want to go back to my cabin because I was sure someone would end up tracking me down.  Instead I found a secluded area in a forest in the opposite direction of the cabin.

I sat down next to a tree and for the first time in a long time I let my guard down.  I let out every emotion that I had locked away.  I felt DogChamp lean into my side but I didn't react.  I just kept crying.  I lost my home and almost everything in it.  I eventually passed out due to exhaustion.
