Shana's P.O.V

Natsu charged at the one-eyed winged monster still carrying me, while Gray went to melt the Eternal Flame.  "I'm all fired up!" He yelled excitingly. 

"Can't ya put me down first?" I asked annoyed with all the running away crap. 

The one-eyed monster squawks. 

"It looks hungry. I guess that demon guy was just an appetizer." Happy mentions.

"Natsu! Shanna!" Wendy worriedly called out to us. 

"Be careful!" Lucy warned us. 

"If he eats us, I'll just cook him from the inside!" The Dragon Slayer smirks. 

I deadpanned. "Idiot! You possibly thought that you might end up cooking me too?" 

"Give it a good punch, Shana!" Natsu threw me like a fire canon. 

"Whoa! Hang on!" I yelp flipping over to face the monster. "Ha!" I used my Chakra strength to push it back. 

"Way to go!" Happy cheers. 

"Not a bad punch," Carla said impressed. 

Natsu caught me in the air and sat me down. I yelped when Natsu pushed me aside when the monster crushed its foot on top of him and he was lifted up in the air. 

"Ah! Natsu!" I shout worriedly. 

"Don't worry about me! I've got this." The Dragon Slayer assured me. 

He lit up both his fist with fire. "You go help Gray and focus on the ice! Get that fire to burn! Save the Eternal Flame and it'll save the village!" He said hitting the monster with his Brilliant Flame attack. 

I still couldn't help but feel worried about him too. 

"I'm all over it!" Gray said heading toward the Eternal Flame. " I haven't been able to do much with the ice around this village. It's immune to my maker magic, and I sure as hell can't melt it. The only thing that I can do is channel it through my body. I think that means this ice and my ice have somethin' in common." 

"You're gonna channel that cursed ice through your body?" exclaimed in disbelief. 

"I'm sure you'll handle it. But what'll it let you do?" Wendy questioned him taking a step closer to me while I was watching Gray slamming his hands on the ice. 

"What I couldn't do before! Once it's been inside me, I think I'll be able to diffuse it." His hands started to glow as he began to do the same thing when he defeated Doriate. 

Flare looked at him, her eyebrow furrowed. "That's amazing, But are you sure you can do it?" 

"Won't know for sure until I try. That's why I'm not usin' this on the Giants yet! Step on is tryin' to suck the ice outta this mountain. I'm gonna give that giant flame some room to breathe! I'm not sure how this'll play out. So get back!" He warned as the ice started to glow and steam started to come from the as it sublimated. 

"Looks like the ice is started to evaporate!" Alastor pointed out. 

My eyes were focused on Gray's figure hoping he won't overwork himself. 

"Yes!" Gray nods knowing it was working. 

"It's really melting! Yay!" Happy cheered. 

"No, it's sublimating, but still." Carla corrected the cat but still impressed herself.
