Tartarus Chapter - Shana vs. Shiro

Shana's P.O.V

I groan holding on to whatever gooey thing was around us. The force was pulling me in. "Shana! Grab my hand!" He reached out his hand to me. Grunting I tried to reach out and grab it but the force was too strong. He was able to gently brush my fingertips but couldn't reach my whole hand.

"Ah!" I screamed being pulled away from him.

"Shana!" Natsu screams being pulled in the opposite direction from me.

"Alegria, the world may mean happiness to some people, but to me, it's something different entirely. It just means that our paths will never cross." Silver mutters. "Sorry Flame of Heavens... but your Flame Haze is long gone." Alastor didn't say anything.

Silver gasped sensing something. "Magic power?"

Mard Geer stops sensing this magic power as well. "The Alegria swallowed up many lives just now. But two seemed to avoid its grasp.

I grunt feeling my face hit the ground after the blinding light that had surrounded me vanished. "What is all of this? It looks like some kind of tissue?" I said eyeing the red stuff that was everywhere.

My eyes shifted to the Nietono No Shana that was suddenly in my hand. The Nietono No Shana must've protected me.

I gasped seeing that Natsu was trapped inside. "Natsu!" I shouted dropping my sword as I tried to get the gunk off. But it was no use. It like made him into a statue. I glared at my blade. "Stupid sword you couldn't protect the both of us? What good are you?"

"The chance of surviving that curse is less than one in a billion. What fortune." Mard Geer smirks. "Tragic. Two solitary human souls left to suffer in the underworld." He says amuse.

I looked around me not liking what was happening before me.

I groan using all my strength to free Natsu from this stupid gunk. "What the hell is this thing? I can't tear it off!" I sigh in frustration. The worst part is I can't catch anyone's scent anymore. I let out a shaky gasp hearing an unsettling roar.

Normal P.O.V

The citizens of Magnolia stare up at the sky where the Tartarus cube lets out a roar making everyone cover their ears.

"That square thing grew a mouth!"

"It's a monster!"

"Is that what destroyed the guildhall?"

Lady Tsunade gasped seeing the Tartarus base. She just got back after dropping her granddaughter in Konoha. She entrusted Shizune to look after them while she returned to help her daughter fight the dark guild. She promised Prolyusica she'd help make a cure for Laxus and the others who inhaled the Bane Particles.

The Tartarus cube lets out another roar but this time the roar was causing everything in Magnolia to be destroyed. All the citizens screamed in fear.

"Everyone, quickly, run for it!" Lady Tsunade shouts helping the citizens evacuate. She clenches her teeth watching the destruction.

Shana's P.O.V

I groan holding my dog's ears in pain as the roar gets louder and louder.

"Demons of Tartarus." I gasped hearing the new familiar voice.
