Chapter 9.

I watched as Justin walked back to his house, not letting me respond. You don't know how much I wanted too run up behind him and call him Justy, how hard I wanted to sit down next to him and look at our old photo's, how hard I wanted too.. kiss him goodnight. I shrugged, letting out a loud sigh as I looked over at Chaz and then back to Justin's house. I waddled over to Chaz's car and opened the car door. I stood there for however long until Chaz spoke,

Chaz: "Yes,"

I looked up, confused.

Kayden: "What?"

Chaz: "Yes, you can go chase after Justin," A smile appeared on his face but his eyes held pain,

I smiled, leaning over and giving him a kiss on the cheek. Although he never would know how much Justin truly meant to me as he drove down the street. But I guess it was better if he didn't know. I took a deep breath and ran across the street, not watching if any cars were coming, I was too focused on Justin- luckily, no cars were coming. I pranced up his doorstep and knocked on the door three times in a riveting tune, it was how Justin and I could tell if it was us. No one came to the door, no 'come in,' that I was so used to hearing. I sighed, rolling my eyes as I turned around and made my way to the side of his house.

Katie: "Going to make this hard, Justin," I murmered to myself as I took hold of ladder on the side of the broken down shed in his yard.

I set it up against his white painted house and made my way up, trying to ignore how high I was until the shimmering light of his bedroom came into view. When I finally reached his window, he was on his bed, laying on his back. I watched for a few moments until I finally started banging furiously on the window. He looked so startled to see me that it took him a few moments to process that it was actually me. He slid out of bed and unlatched the window, opening it up to reveal the thick smell of axe. Justin loved putting axe on ever since I told him I liked it. He looked down and saw the ladder, a smile approached his lips and I could see he was trying to fight it.

Justin: "Only you, KadKad,"

My heart skipped a beat, my hands shook on the ladder and I smirked up into his big brown chocolate eyes, I never liked chocolate, but if it meant eating Justin's eyes, I so would

Katie: "This would have been easier if, oh I don't know, you answered the goddamn front door,"

He laughed, sticking out his warm hand to help me into the window. I took it and he hoisted me up and in to his room. I dusted myself off,

Justin: "Where's Chaz?" He asked, tapping his foot uncomfortably,

Katie: "He let me come see you," I noticed how awful that sounded, as if I didn't want too come, "I really hated seeing you like that, but I don't know what's been up with us, Justin, everything's.."

Justin: "Different," He explained,

I nodded, lowering my head.

Katie: "I want the old time's back, I know I sound selfish, but I can't lie."

He smiled, opening his arms and letting out a shout,

Justin: "Come here, KadKad, give Justy a huggle,"

I had an insant flashback too when we were 13, and I was just falling in love with a boy named Justin Drew Bieber.

( Flashback ]

I shook my head, signaling no. He grinned, giving me that look I was scared of.

Justin: "Come here, KadKad, give me a hug,"

I shook my head no again and laughed when he chased after me, wrapping his arms around my waist and pretending to bodyslam me into the grass, obviously, Justin did it more gently and more hotter. He pinned me down and smirked,

Justin: "Hug me, or I'll tickle you,"

My eyes got wide. My biggest weakness; getting tickled. I nodded finally in agreement and he backed up, smiling that smile that always seemed to make my stomach fill with butterflies,

Justin: "Come here, KadKad, give Justy a huggle,"

( Over ]

I felt my feet moving towards him and just like any girl in the world, I agreed to hug him.

Justin's POV:

Everything had changed between us.

Because I loved her now. And not that, 'oh-hey-i-love-you-bestie' way, I mean love love. The kind of love that people only dreamed of having. But I, Justin Bieber, had to fall in love with my bestfriend; but I was determind too..

( The Next Morning ]

Katie's POV:

I woke up, to the beautiful sounds of nature, the leaves blowing through the wind, the birds singing, today was going to be an amazing day. Well, it would be an amazing day if I weren't so confused. I am torn between the two most amazing boys on the planet. I always feel so warm when I'm with Justin, like nothing can go wrong. But then there's Chaz, Hot, sensetive, amazing Chaz. When we kissed I felt a little spark, definately more than I expected to feel... I like both guys, but I think Justin only thinks of me as a sister and best friend. NOT a girlfriend. But Chaz, I know he likes me. So it's either keep waiting on something that might end up breaking my heart, or don't wait on something because its aready there, in a cute little package named Chaz. So wait or don't wait, wait or don't wait, wait or don't wait. I picked up my phone and dialed his number. It rung twice before I heard Chaz otherwise known as The Don't Wait.

Chaz: "Hey Kay.'

He sounded a little sad, maybe bacause I ditched him for Justin otherwise known as The Wait

Katie: "You want to go out?''

Chaz: "On, like, a date?''

He aready sounded happier, excited, whitch made me smile even bigger.

Katie: ''Yes a date.'' 

Chaz: ''Good because I have something to ask you.''

I wonder whats he's going to ask me...

Katie: ''Hmmm, Mkay want to go to the park?''

Chaz: ''Yep, What time?''

Katie: ''We have to go soon because Justin has his concert tonight, so what about 2:00?''

Chaz: ''Perfect, see you soon Kay (: ''

Katie: ''See you, Somers.''

It's 1:30 now, I took a shower really fast and put on shorts and a shirt. Chaz rang the door bell, I scurried down the stairs and opened the door. There was Chaz holding up flowers.

Chaz: ''Hi, Kay, these are, erm for you.''

He smiled a crooked smile and I kissed him softly on the cheek.

Katie: ''Awh! Chaz! Thank you so much! I'll go and put these in some water and you can wait right here.''

Chaz: ''Okay.''

I put these in a vase and sat them on the window, in my room. I came back and we walked down the rode to the park I grabbed his hand and smiled at him, we talked and laughed and finally ended up back at my house. We stood in front of my door, him still holding my hand.

Chaz: ''So I'll see you in like an hour for the concert, right?''

Katie: ''Yep, but what did you want to ask me?''

He looked up, and stared into my eyes, I felt as if I could drown in them.

Chaz: ''I like you Kay, like a lot.. do you like me?''

I know the answer and that was,

Kayden: ''Yes.''

I blushed and I felt him smile.

Chaz: ''Katie, will you be my girlfriend?''

OMG! MY DONT WAIT REALLY DOES NOT WANT TO WAIT! A thousand thoughts ran through my mind, but most of all, Justin. Obviously didn't think of me like I thought of him, and if he does well he's had forever, and I do like Chaz! So thats why I smiled big and proud when I said

Katie: ''I'd love to.''

I could see his relief, I leaned and kissed him, and I felt that little spark again. We hugged and I went inside.

I am officially not single.
I am officially with Chaz Somers.
And, you know what?
I am officially happy.
Hey, this was a pretty amazing day, huh? But it's not over yet.
