Eventually, Chace had to go to Canada to start filming another season of 'The Boys' and Sebastian was off for his own project somewhere else for a month. I was still staying with Harry, but my new apartment was almost ready. This meant Harry knew exactly how much Sebastian and I talked, which was every day. But, this also meant Harry would be the only one around to have lunch date or come by to walk home with me if it was nice out. Usually him or Sebastian would try to come to my work once or twice each every week. Of course some of my co-workers didn't mind the eye candy when they came.
While he was away for work, Sebastian and I texted constantly, in between the phone calls and FaceTime. Sometimes it was a gif, sometimes a meme and sometimes just an emoji. I think we got to know each other even quicker than we would in person because we'd talk for hours. At times, we were just walking around, doing our thing, while we were on FaceTime. Harry would laugh at us, saying it felt like Seb was always in the apartment because of how much we'd be on the phone.
Mainly, it was because it was so easy to talk to him. Even if we weren't talking, just sitting on the line, it was comfortable. He would be going over his lines, and I could be folding my clothes, but we knew the other was right there. I'd even just sit my iPad on the sofa like he was sitting in our living room. Sometimes Harry would sit in his recliner and talk across the room like Sebby was sitting there.
He had become one of my best friends quicker than I'd ever had any friendship evolve. Most of the time, I forgot he was famous, and I certainly didn't treat him any differently than anyone else. It was actually strange to think we really hadn't known each other much longer than we really had. It didn't take long for him to come up with a nickname for me either, well mostly because of something Harry said.
Harry and I had gone to lunch and on our way back in, we stopped to talk to Joe the doorman. He asked how I was getting along and if I had made new friends since I'd been here a while. I told him I felt like I was fitting in okay, still learning my way around, and I had actually made some good friends already. Harry had told Joe before I even moved in that he thought Sebastian and I would hit it off and become fast friends. So, while we were talking, he told Joe he had been right about us, but that he wasn't giving up his 'B-F-F' and Seb could only claim me as 'B-F' status.
After we finished talking to Joe, we made our way back to the apartment. I just stared at Harry who was looking at his phone as we rode the elevator up to our floor. Realizing I had been quiet, he finally looked over at me. "What?"
"How old are you?"
"What are you talking about? You know very well how old I am."
"Who still says BFF and BF literally using just the letters and not words when actually speaking out loud? Plus, I thought BF was boyfriend."
"No. It's best friend. And I've known you forever, so I get that one. I don't know, I felt nostalgic for a second, okay?"
The elevator doors opened as we laughed at his childishness. I knew Sebastian was working, but I had to text him. 'Apparently I'm your Bif'.
