Chapter seventeen -

"Blue!" Karma screamed from their room.

"Yeah baby." Blue asked, walking in.

"Hospital now." Karma said as she pointed to the pool of water below her.

She had been waiting two weeks for her water to break.

The stubborn baby hadn't wanted to come on her due date now he was a week and a half overdue and tomorrow she was supposed to be induced.

"Yes we go now." Blue said, rushing to her and helping her to the car.

"Are you in any pain yet?" Blue asked, looking over at his wife.

"No nothing yet, just keep driving." Karma spoke. She wasn't feeling anything yet, just nervous.

"Are you ready for this baby?" Blue asked. He was scared shitless. He was going to be leaving the hospital with a tiny human and didn't know if he was going to be able to do anything right. But he was sure going to try.

"Not really but it's a little late for that question." Karma chuckled.

"We got this, we can do this." Karma chuckled as she listened to Blue reassure himself mainly. She knew he was scared of fucking up and turning into his parents, but he was going to be an amazing dad.

Once they got to the hospital the nurse rushed Karma and Blue up to delivery.

Soon the pain started. Karma hand insisted on no epidural but she was starting to rethink her own decision.

"What can I do baby?" Blue asked, rubbing her belly as another contraction hit her like a truck.

"Nothing, fucking nothing!" Karma said between clenched teeth.

"I don't like you in pain." Blue sighed softly. He just wanted to take her pain away.

"I know but really Blue I'm about to push a baby out of my vigina there is nothing you can do about the pain." Karma patted his hand.

It felt like hours of just waiting. The nurses would come in and then leave again.

Blue couldn't help but feel his heart break for Karma. She was in so much pain and all he wanted to do was make it better.

But finally after thirteen long hours the nurse said it was time to push.

The doctor came in smiling like this was the best thing in the world for her.

"Okay it's time to meet the little guy." She had smiled as the nurse dressed her in gloves.

"Thank god." Karma sighed out.

"Alright take a deep breath and push till you count to ten Karma." The doctor said, pushing Karma's legs further apart.

Blue watched in amazement as Karma continued pushing their son into the world. He couldn't help but fall even more in love with the woman.

Their son's cry filled the room as finally he came into the world.

Karma let her head fall back exhausted but filled with nothing but pride as she watched Blue cut their son's cord and the doctor placed him on her chest.

She cried as she held her baby for the first time. "He's so beautiful."

"Just like his mother." Blue wiped tears from his own eyes.

" Welcome to the world Mikel Alexander." Karma whispered before placing a kiss on her son's head.

"It's perfect baby." Blue smiled at her. He had nothing but love and pride for the women before him. She had named their son after his grandfather. Remembering how important he was to him.

He was one lucky man to have her as his and to be able to raise a child with her.

"Okay let me see him." Bray and Lily said, rushing into the room.

Karma was holding her son feeding him as everyone started to arrive. She had asked for everyone to stay home until after he was born.

Her mother was sad she wanted only Blue in the room but understood her daughter's need for less people.

"Oh my gosh he's so cute!" Bray said, smiling at the small baby in Karmas arms.

"Isn't he though. I make pretty beautiful babies." Karma chuckled at her own words.

"Of course you do, because you're so beautiful yourself." Blue said, walking into the room.

"He looks just like you Blue." Lily smiled at her grandson.

She couldn't believe her baby girl was now a mother, but she knew she was going to make a damn good one.

Everyone took turns holding the baby. Karma wanted nothing more than to have him all to herself. She loved that everyone loved her son, but she felt anxious when he was out of her arms.

Blue walked over to her MIkel sound asleep against his bare chest.

"Do you know how hot you are right now?" Karma asked him, smiling.

"I'm only hot because of him." Blue chuckled but handed the baby to his wife.

Karma kissed her son's head holding him to her.

"Is her latching okay?" Blue asked as he helped Karma remove the hospital gown from her upper body.

He watched as she began feeding their son.

"Yeah he's latching fine. I thought I was going to have more trouble with this." Karma said smiling as her son latched on to her.

She never thought she'd be the type to breastfeed but after months of thinking it over she knew she wanted to.

"You're a natural baby." Blue gave her a kiss.

"Loving you was the best decision I ever made." Karma said, catching him off guard.

"Then I'm glad you decided to love me." Blue smiled.
