Chapter ten

Chapter ten -

Karma removed her heels before taking a seat on the edge of the bed. Blue had gotten them a hotel room for the night, stating tomorrow he was going to clean up the house and see what he could salvage.

"Karma?" Blue asked, looking at how exhausted his girl looked.

"I just want to go to bed." Karma sighed, running a hand through her hair.

Standing up she stripped from her clothes before pulling the blankets back and climbing into the bed.

She would deal with everything tomorrow she thought as she closed her eyes.

"Okay my love." Blue whispered as he planted a kiss on her lips.

She heard as he left the room just as she slipped into a sleepless sleep.

"No I said to fucking deal with it!" Karma cracked one eye open and looked around the room.

Blue was standing by the window with his phone pressed to his ear.

"Baby?" Karma asked. Her voice cracked a little.

Blue looked back at Karma before hanging up.

"What's wrong?" Karma asked.

"Nothing to worry your pretty little head about." Blue said, leaning down and giving her a kiss.

"I managed to find some clothes that weren't cut up." Blue pointed at a small bag that rested in the oversized chair in the corner of the room.

"I should really go home and see what I can pack up." Karma mumbled as she got up.

"I've got that handled. What we need to do is go talk to the real estate agent."

"Blue I'm not moving." Karma stated matter of factly.

"Karma there is no way in hell you're going back to that house." Blue glared at her. Was she not thinking clearly?

"It was just a random break in, right?" Karma glared back.

Blue didn't say anything. Which gave Karma the upper hand.

"It wasn't random was it?" She asked.

She wanted him to be honest. Did this have something to do with Blue and what he's been keeping from her?

She was trying really hard to trust him; but he was giving her a million reasons not too.

She had seen first hand what a random break in looked like. Her grandparents had been robbed once. Mostly everything worth something had been taken.

Not at her home. Everything was just tossed about and ripped up.

"I don't know, okay. I want... Karma, I just want you to be safe." Blue sighed.

He knew Karma. Her mind had started racing the second she saw the disarray of her home.

He felt bad, having her security taken away.

He had a feeling of who had done this, but he wasn't about to tell her that.

Karma walked over to him, wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him.

She took a deep breath, smelling his cologne. She loved the way he smelt.

"I don't want to argue with you. I just want to hold you." Karma whispered against his chest.

Blue hugged her back, burying his head in her hair. He loved this woman more than anything else and he would do anything to keep her safe.

"So this is the master, it's really big and spacious." Karma rolled her eyes at the agent.

In the weeks since the break in she had seen five different homes all overpriced, way too big and nothing that she had specifically asked for was anywhere to be seen in any of the homes.

Yes they were nice, but not what she wanted. Her brother had gotten a huge house. He liked space. She wanted a much smaller home for herself. Besides it was just her and Blue would be more than likely tagging along.

Why did they have to have six bedrooms?

"It's nice." Blue hesitantly spoke while looking at Karma.

Her nose was scrunched up and she was glaring daggers at the back of the agent's head.

"I don't see a reading nook." Karma grumbled.

"Well I'm sure you could just build one in." The lady stated.

"It's a lovely home, but I dont think it's for us." Blue spoke for both of them.

"This is just a waste of time." Karma said as they got into the car.

"It wouldn't be if you were just open to the thought of a new house." Blue eyed her.

"Why do you want me to get a new house?"

"Have you taken into consideration that I'm looking with you. I want us to have our first home together." Blue stated.

"We don't need six bedrooms Blue." Karma sighed. She liked the thought of them getting a home together.

"What about future kids?" He asked.

"Three rooms. One for us, one for our office and the third for guests." Karma stated. She was not going to ponder the idea of kids at the moment.

"Fine, I'll talk to the agent." Blue knew he was going to lose the fight.

After a call to the agent the pair was once again pulling up to another house. It was just a few blocks from her parents which was nice.

She loved the location. Getting out of the car they followed the agent into the home.

"Is the gate manual or is there a button for it?" Blue asked.

"I believe it's manual right now, but it could be upgraded."

Karma looked around the house, wandering away from Blue and the agent as they spoke.

The house was nice. It was only four bedrooms which means a lot smaller than the last ones they looked at.

The master was up stairs with one other room while the other two were just off the kitchen down stairs.

She loved the closet space and the private ensuite bathroom. It was nice with a big tub and separate walk-in shower.

She could see herself relaxing here after a long day of work.

The backyard was nice and the house had a private driveway.

"So..." Blue said, leaning against the door frame.

"I actually like it. It's small and quiet." Karma said as she walked over to Blue.

"Good, cause I kind of already bought it." Blue said before pulling Karma in for a kiss.

Karma's lips moved with his letting his tongue run along hers as the kiss deepend.

She wanted him. He hadn't touched her since the night of the break in.

Pulling away Karma asked. "You already bought it?"

"Yeah I liked it, I knew you would like it, so I bought it." Blue nonchalantly answered.

"When, because I have been with you all day." Karma asked in an accusatory tone.

"When you were in the bathroom at lunch. You really do take forever." Blue shrugged his shoulders.

"I love you." Karma whispered before pulling his lips back to hers.
