24. Queen of Tears

The SPW Foundation took Kakyoin and Avdol to the hospital. It turned out that I haven't healed Avdol fully, due to the lost energy. Now we're booking hotel rooms. Me, Jotaro and Polnareff will share one room, while Mr. Joestar and Mr. Zeppeli will have another one, along with Iggy.

We go towards our hotel room and put our luggage inside. There's one king sized bed and one single bed.

- I will sleep in one bed with Jotaro then.- I said sitting down on the bigger bed.

- Alright alright. Just don't make out all night long. I would like to sleep peacefully, without having to listen to this.- Polnareff said jokingly, making me giggle softly.

- Aye aye, captain.- I answered, looking up at him when he ruffled my hair.

Jotaro got on the bed behind me and sighed deeply as he lay down, when Polnareff went to the bathroom. I look over my shoulder at him and smile as I see how relaxed he looks. I lean towards him and take off his cap, before getting up from the bed. I put it on the nightstand and look back over at him, to see his gaze on myself.

Soon after, his arms wrap around me and he pulls me onto the bed, rolling over onto his side so that he's towering over me a bit. He lowered himself towards me slowly, until our faces were inches away. I close my eyes and then his soft lips press against mine. The kiss was rather tender and gentle, not like the other ones. He's usually passionate and forceful with kissing, but not this time.

After a minute or two, he pulled away and lay back down beside me, staring at the ceiling. At this moment Polnareff left the bathroom and I looked over at him.

- I was waiting for you to get out.- I said before pulling myself up and sitting upright on the bed.- You two, don't turn our room into a smoking room, okay? If you want to smoke a cigarette, go to the balcony. You know how much I hate the smell of cigarette smoke.

- Of course, Mademoiselle.- Polnareff smiled at me widely, making me smile back.

- Merci beaucoup.- I answered, giggling afterwards.

- Polnareff, wanna smoke?- Jotaro asked before getting up from the bed, taking his cigarette pack out of his pocket.

- Sure.- They both go to the balcony and light their cigarettes. Taking this opportunity, I walk over to my suitcase and pull out my pajamas. I go to the bathroom and take a quick shower before changing into pajamas. After that I put some cream on my face and left the room. I notice that Polnareff and Jotaro are playing cards and I walk up to them.

- Can I join you?- I asked, sitting between them both at a small table.

- Yeah, just let us finish this round.- Jotaro said before putting a card onto the table. They play macao.

After a few minutes it turns out that Jotaro won. I laughed at Polnareff's pout when he lost. In the next round, I play along with them. Each one of us got five cards and one from the deck is in the middle of the table. We start playing, each one of us has our own tactics.

This time I won. I make a small winner dance, teasing Polnareff and Jotaro that they lost. I laugh loudly at their pouted faces.

- You suck at this game!- I said jokingly, still laughing loudly.

- Jotaro, do you think the same, that I do?- Polnareff asked and I stopped laughing, looking at them questioningly.

- Yeah.

They both got up from their seats and Jotaro grabbed me from behind while Polnareff moved in front of me, smirking mischievously. I gulped as I looked up at him with wide eyes. Then he starts tickling me everywhere, causing me to laugh loudly once more.
