18. Death 13 Pt. 2

Pov: Y/N

- I guess it's ready, Mister Joestar.- I stated, after trying a small amount of food that I was preparing with him.

- Let me try.- Polnareff said while kneeling beside me and putting his spoon into a pot that is hanging above a fire. He then puts the food into his mouth.- Mhh! It's delicious, Y/N!

- Thank you.- I smile at him warmly.

Then I pull myself up and take out five bowls. I filled each of them before handing it to each of the boys.

- Bon appetit boys!- I said cheerfully, smiling widely. I sit down beside Jotaro and start eating slowly.

Suddenly also Polnareff appears beside me. I looked up at him with one eyebrow raised, wondering why he moved from his place.

- Hey, Jotaro, Y/N. What do you think is up with Kakyoin? First he nearly killed us in his sleep on the plane, now this. He even went after the baby. Something is just not right. If you ask me, he's at his wit's end. Do you think he'll be able to keep going from here?- Polnareff asked in a whisper, making Jotaro frown. I look up at them in disbelief. They really think that Kakyoin would just go crazy from day to day?

I watch Kakyoin sitting alone, seeming lost in thoughts. He hasn't touched his food yet, which worries me. I get up from where I'm sitting and kneel in front of him, looking up at him.

- Nori... Just know that I'm by your side. You can tell me anything. I really want to help you. I won't judge you. I promise.- I whisper to him quietly, taking one of his hands into mine.

- You will think that I'm totally crazy if I tell you this...- Kakyoin said, looking away from me. I get up and grab his face between my hands. I gently force him to look back into my eyes.

- I said, I won't judge you. I just want to help you.- I said sternly yet softly, looking deep into his eyes.

- Alright...- He grabs his sleeve and slowly starts pulling it upwards. I saw letters carved on his forearm. They say "BABY STAND"

- It can't... Are you sure about this, Nori?- I asked, clearly shocked by what I just saw.

- I must have done it in my sleep back then on the plane. My knife isn't covered in blood and I think that his Stand is attacking in sleep.- Kakyoin said with a completely serious expression on his face.

- I see. We should tell the others.- I said, turning around to walk back to Jotaro and Polnareff but Kakyoin grabbed my hand, stopping me.

- You really believe me?- He asked, his voice full of hope now.

- Of course. After all we should trust each other, right?- I smile at him reassuringly.

He gets up and walks back towards the boys with me. But then we notice the baby killing the scorpion with a safety pin from his diaper.

- You saw this, Kakyoin?- I asked, watching as the baby is staring back at us with a terrified gaze.

- Yeah...

- Mister Joestar, Polnareff, did you see that?!- I yelled out loud, making all of the boys look at me.

- That baby's not normal! He just killed a scorpion! He stabbed it! The boy skewered it with his own safety pin!- Kakyoin added, pointing towards the baby.

- Kakyoin, Y/N, hold on. What the hell are you two talking about?- Mr. Joestar asked, looking at us with confusion like others.

- This baby isn't a normal baby! It's a Stand User!- I shouted at them.- Kakyoin was right!
