Five took my wrist, and led me to the deck of the ship. It was pretty warm in April, and quite humid. The air smelled like rain, as it was pouring around an hour ago. Five walked towards the bow of the ship, while I followed behind.

"Close your eyes, Dolores," he whispered to my ear, giving me goosebumps. I immediately knew what he was trying to do, but I played along.

I obeyed, and shut my eyes. He grabbed my hand, and slowly led me up a few stairs. He slowly took my arms, and spread them like a bird's wings. I slowly opened my eyes, and with a tint of mockery, I said, " Oh Jack, I'm flying."

He didn't pay any attention to my comment. Instead, he took out a headband from his blazer pocket and gave it to me. It wasn't perfectly sewn: I could see a piece of thread sticking out of the hem. But I knew how much effort he spent on making this. He wasn't an artistic person, but he still gave his best.

"Thought it looked good with the outfit," he explained, "I'm not a fashion designer or something, but it's blue-"

"It's beautiful," I assured him. I put the headband on and turned to him.

"You're beautiful."

I closed my eyes once again, feeling the atmosphere around me: the slight breeze, the wet air, Five's hand on my waist... It felt unreal.

"Dolly," Five told me, "we have to get off."

"Ha," I found it rather amusing, "may I remind you who just asked me to go up here just a few minutes ago?"

"Dolores we have to go down," Five urged, slightly pulling my arm.

"Can't you for once forget about the Commission and relax for-"

"For fuck's same Dolores there's an iceberg!" Five cut me off.

I opened my eyes, and a gigantic iceberg was there, ready to break the titanic. Five pulled me and we both fell down, rolling on the ground before the chunk of ice hit us as well.

I squinted my eyes as my back hit the floor. I definitely felt a purple bruise coming. I also felt a figure on top of me.

The only thing I saw was Five's alarmed face just mere inches away from me. Before I could even react, he pushed his lips against mine.

Within seconds, everything around me disappeared. The humid air, the slippery floor, the falling ice, the smell of rain, the pain on my back... they were all replaced by the scent of Espresso Margarita and the softness of his lips.

When we finally pulled apart, Five did a double take. "Fuck I'm so sorry—" he started rambling.

I pulled the collar of his blazer for a kiss to cut him off. I could feel him smiling. When I pulled away, I told him, "it's time."

A/N: hi I'm back after four months! This is my first time writing a kissing scene so I'm nervous and it feels really weird. I still don't get how other authors write smut scenes without cringing when I can't even handle a kiss. What a pussy haha.
