You know that feeling when you see a car so fancy and expensive you completely avoid it.
Like the rich smell was illegal to you. Well, now I was in one. A G-Wagon. This is the first time I even saw such a rich car face to face. I had to place my luggage into its spacious boot and sit at the backseat with the girl by my side. The smell of leather tickled my nose and I couldn't help grinning. A lofty man sat on the driver's seat and began to drive away from the burning home.Sitting on the seat, I couldn't help my eyes falling onto the girl. Now that I think about it, I don't even know her name but she knows everything about me.
"Excuse me?" I asked. She turned her head as her sapphire eyes stared into mine. "What's your name?"
"Serena. Serena Elsher." She answered, turning her gaze onto the tinted windows as she looked out into the wilderness.
"Serena." I said, playing her name in my mouth. "You have a pretty name."
I could see her reflection through the tinted windows, where she had a smile on her face. I wanted to see it properly. Not through a reflection, but through my own very eyes. Delicately, I held her face and turned it to face mine. Her eyes widened at this, but she didn't pull back. Realising how weird that was, I immediately pulled back with my brown cheeks flushed.
"I'm so sorry! I don't know what got into me. I didn't mean to be weird I just wanted to see your smile." I rambled, as I could feel my face burning up. "I hope your not uncomfortable by it."
I stared at the floor, embarrassed to meet her iced eyes. I could hear a soft giggle which made me peer at her. A pale hand hovering over her red lips as chuckles escaped from them. The giggles turned much louder and rowdier.
"Dude, relax. Don't worry too much!" She laughed, slapping my shoulder. I slightly winced. What does this girl eat-
And that's when I couldn't stop looking at her. It was like she was in slo-mo. I know this is not the best time to be looking at a girl like this, but don't blame me. Blame my heart. Maybe I've been so deprived of human contact that a girl smiling had my stomach doing backflips. Maybe.
Her golden hair swayed as she laughed. Her eyelashes which were blonde and lengthy as it surrounded her azure eyes. Her petite nose which was blushed and her smile. Oh her smile. Her pearly whites were on display while she was in a fit of laughter. She was so elegant looking. Like a swan! Yes. A very graceful one. Captivated by her, it felt as if I was in a trance, where I couldn't get my eyes off her.
"What are you staring at you damn bastard?!" She hissed, raising a fist. "I could feel ur eyes burning through my skull!"
I take back what I said.
"Ay?! Answer me!" She yelled, a snarl on her face. I couldn't help but laugh. Her randomly raging after just giggling and such violent words coming out of a delicate looking girl is too funny to me.
"What are you laughing at?" She grumbled, with a slight grin as if she's holding back joining me.
Howling with laughter, I slapped my leg as the continuous image of a swan angry replayed in my mind. She looked at me for a while as her scowl turned into a smile, as she began to join in with my mirth.
"Why- why'd you randomly- become- angry?!" I asked within the spaces of my chuckles.
"Because you were staring at me! I thought you were giving me a dirty look, like you were judging me!" She laughed.
"I'll never judge you." I giggled, soon realising she slowly stopped and gazed at me.
"I mean it. You helped me way too much and made me laugh even though what just happened back there. You held me when I cried and comforted me which no one else did but my sister. I honestly appreciate you a lot." I stated. She looked shy before she slapped me on my arm.
