Sunday went by with a bliss, starting with Roman sneaking me out and promising he'd tell Stacy I went home to chilling on my bed doing homework.
Now I'm at school, going through a class I don't really like much. Foreign languages.
I didn't mind the language or the people itself I just don't really like the teachers we get. How are we supposed to get fluent when our teachers are speaking to us in broken French.
I secretly texted Luca about how boring this class is but when I heard his phone ping, I sat back in regret.
'Je suis- Who is on their phones in this class! Fess up before I confiscate it.' Our teacher bellowed and nobody threatened to say a word.
When Luca turned to me I only looked at him with regret and he only shrugged. But before our teacher could say anything else, the bell rang and we all stormed out of there.
'Sorry by the way... You could have been caught,' I say but he smiles at me. 'Who cares? But do you know what really matters?'
'What?' I asked curiously and his smile only grows wider.
'Did you hear about the boot camp?' Luca mentions, his arm around my shoulder as we walk around the bustling halls and I only raised an eyebrow.
'Come on! You don't know? This boot camp is all exclusive! The top 50 girls and top 50 boys in the school all go to this special boot camp which is based on survival in the forests and telling ghost stories!' Luca squealed and I only chuckled in response.
'I think my parents mentioned something about it this morning but when are we actually going? I need time to pack,' I noted as we sat at our usual designated area and Luca pulls out a list and shoved it into my face.
'It's Tuesday till Friday. Everything you need 101! If it's not on the list then the school provides it themselves,' The list was interminable and I went cross eyed just from reading it.
'Hey what's that babe,' Stacy rushed over to me, kissing me on the cheek and Luca gasped.
'You guys are... are dating?!' Luca whispered ever so quietly and my eyes furrowed when Stacy put her hand on my shoulder, nodding vigorously.
'We're keeping it a secret for the time being so please quiet down,' I muttered and Luca agreed as if this secret was safe with him.
'What secrets?' Luna appeared out of nowhere and we all looked away from her.
'Nothing much! Just that we are dating...' Stacy admitted and Luna glared at me with an expression I could not read.
They're dating? All my efforts to make Stacy mine has gone to waste...
'Ow...' A strong pang shot through me and it was almost as if I was burning from the inside and out.
Muffled concerns from Stacy and others were simply ignored as I rushed away telling them that it was nothing to worry about.
Roman would know something.
My attempt to keep my eyes open, the sun blinding me as I headed towards the junior and senior hangouts, was with tremendous effort however when I landed to their hangout, Roman looked at me as if I was a stranger.
'Hey dude get off our table!' A random junior pushed me off and I fell back before someone had caught me.
'Dumb! You you see he not look okay? ばか,' Someone muttered disapprovingly, taking me away and when shade finally hit us I was surprised to see Raion taking care of me.
'Raion! You- Ow...' I placed a hand on my forehead and he only shook his head with disapproval once more.
We entered an empty classroom which had a first aid kit out in the open to our relief and Raion only sighed.
