As I stepped out of the room, Roman came rushing to me. The waiting room had increased with the number of guests and I was thinking we should hurry out of here before it gets too congested.
'Are you okay? What were the results?' Roman asked frantically and I dragged his hand out of the hospital before speaking.
'He didn't hurt me or anything, I took a few tests he said that nothing was wrong with me and that I'm perfectly fine.' I sat in the passenger seat of his car and buckled up as did he.
'Is that all? He didn't do the Gedächtnisschock to you?' Roman asked and I raised an eyebrow when he started the engine, zooming off.
'What is that?' I questioned, my eyes drifting off to the road and to my surprise to see how mundane everything was, was relieving. The supernatural hasn't corrupted our world just yet...
'Oh what Gedächtnisschock? It's a very old German process that brings back your memories. German supernatural scientists discovered it and used it on humans alike. Some died, some survived that's why it was very shunned on.' Roman mentioned and my eyes widened at this course of information.
My hands clenched up ever so slightly, 'Shunned upon? You're telling me if I went through with this I could have died?'
'Supernaturals don't die from this process only some humans. And even though you're human, you have supernatural qualities to you. So don't worry I won't let you die,' Roman cooed in a very reassuring way, and I was thinking about punching him if he wasn't driving, I didn't want to cause no accidents.
But when I felt a strong cramp, I gripped onto the car doors in agony. It felt as if something was kicking my stomach.
'Are you okay? Angel?' Roman pulled over, placing my face between his warm hands and i only gripped on to my stomach tighter, wanting the pain to go away. I only stared into his green eyes, distracting myself from the obvious pain.
I breathed out heavily when it finally subdued and I could return to my normal state, leaning back in relief. 'I'm fine it was nothing to worry about...'
'No you didn't look okay! If you want we can go back to the doctors-' Roman shouted, his eyes filled with worry but I only rejected that offer.
'I'm fine alright? The pain is gone and if it comes back I'll let you know...' My words faded off into the atmosphere as Roman nodded, turning the key before pressing down on the pedal.
What was that? I thought as I played with my hands , trying my best not to think much of it.
It was Roman's birthday today I shouldn't let negative things ruin it.
So I looked back at him with a wide smile, 'Where are we going to next?'
....
We arrived at an abandoned spot and I was second guessing my safety for once. Roman wouldn't kill me and bury my body here would he?
'Whatever you're thinking, don't,' He mentioned and I only scoffed. 'Don't judge the book by its cover,'
And he was right because when we turned the corner there was a cabin dressed in iridescent lights and I gasped at how magical it looked.
'Wow did you prepare all of this?' I say as Roman opened the door to the cabin, revealing the cosy contents that laid behind closed doors.
'Yeah well I wanted to make it special,' Roman said as he went to sit down by the table that was displayed with a lot of delicious foods and I just wanted to start to eat them.
