I headed out into the cold crisp air still quite shaken up from the previous moments and if there was one thing I knew that had to be that I wouldn't be able to go back there no more.
I knocked on Roman's car window and he pulled it down simultaneously and his good looks never seem to surprise me. Those cute dimples of his and how his eyes would flash to a dragon-flame vermillion in the limelight knowing what it could do to me. I was seriously falling deeper for this man and I had no idea how to stop it from developing into something much more than a mere attraction.
'You just going to stand there or?' He brought up, that thick Italian accent seeping through with every chance it got and I realized I hadn't talked about it enough.
'No,' I mumbled, placing myself in the passenger seat and he smiled when I buckled up, driving off to wherever he pleased.
'I'm hoping the pack were nice to you... They're not great with unfamiliar faces I'll admit,' Roman mentioned and i only rolled my eyes. Of course they weren't. 'You know you're taking this whole supernatural thing well, I'm quite surprised...' Roman stated and I only shrugged in my seat.
'Demons like you exist in the Bible... Ultimate temptation, daring smiles that could wreak havoc onto this earth I know...' I sighed lightly when Roman leaned quite close to me at a red light.
'Oh is that so?' Roman breathed against my neck, his lips brushing against me ever so slightly and I hissed at the sudden contact.
'Oh wouldn't you know?' I muttered, facing away from him when it turned green, feeling proud of myself that I was able to control the situation around here.
He only chuckled, pressing down on the pedal, his Porsche roaring like a beast as it zoomed past all the other mundane cars and I secretly smiled to myself knowing I was being treated with luxury.
'Hey where are we even going?' I say as he rolled up a rocky hill and he only flicked his hair back.
'You'll love it I'm sure,'I only sat back, defeated but also quite curious to know what we were doing. It's just late at night near a cliff who knows what could go wrong?
We finally pulled up in a deserted area quite far from civilization and the first thing I noticed was the view from here.
'Wow... It's beautiful,' My eyes gleamed at the sight of the twinkling lights of Los Angles it almost looked like a canvas of some alien world.
'Right? Ever since I got my license this is all I ever go, for good times and bad...' Roman mentioned and another thought washed upon my mind.
'Is this where you take your dates then? It's the perfect date spot it's almost romantic,' I inferred and he only shook his head, scoffing.
'Surprisingly enough I've never brought anyone here except for you and that's the sole truth,' His eyes flashed to mine and I will admit my heart almost skipped a beat.
'Oh and is that supposed to make my heart flutter to know that I'm special to you?' I'm sure you use that line on all the girls you want to fuck around with...' I noted and he smiled, staring out into the moonlight sky.
'You are special to me Angelico. Don't forget that. I want to get to know you for who you are,' Roman admitted sincerely and I didn't know if he was being genuine or if that was one of his bad boy tactics. Either way all I know was that I wasn't going to take any chances.
'You're good! Ya almost got me there!' I joked though his expression hadn't faltered once. 'No joke though this place is the best place for star-gazing! Do you enjoy it too?
