"So how long are we in L.A. for?" Chance asked after about 5 days of working out the location. "We head to Miami day after tomorrow. I have an interview today and tomorrow is just a chill day so I really don't have much else left to do." She said as she took a bite of her burger. "So you and Julie huh?" She said while he was drinking his soda causing him to choke. "What's so funny?" Bryan asked as he took a seat with his food. "Chance and Julie." She answered with a grin. "Oh yeah. I been meaning to ask you about that. She's cool man. I say go for it. And her body's nice. Right babe." Sutton nodded with a smile. "Bryan's right. She's a really nice girl and the accent is pretty sexy too." She added. "Can we just change the subject?" Chance asked. "Okay but are you and Julie still making the cupcake for the grand openings or have you two found a better use for them?" Sutton and Bryan bust out laughing making Chance start throwing fries. "Okay, I'm done. Honest." She said. "Who's up for night surfing?" She asked. Leo appeared in the doorway. "It's like you knew what I was thinking." She pointed at herself then back to him. "Damn right. Jules!" She looked over the balcony. "What's with the screaming?" She called. "Shit. Night surfing!?" Sutton called. Julie gave her a thumbs up. "You guys are in for so much fun." She squealed. "Well get off your asses and get a move on. Pack extra clothes and towels." Both guys looked at each other and chuckled. They surfed all the time at the beach but this was something new. They drove about 45 minutes to a cove. "We have to walk it from here." Leo told them, him and Ricoh leading the way. "If something grabs me, I'm haunting you in death Shortcake." Chance called as he walked behind them with Julie. "Stop being a puss and follow us." Once they made it to the other side, the water was perfect for surfing, it was warm and it glowed beautifully. "Here. Keep these on your person at all times. There's no light out here and these will help us find you. They lock onto you ankle. They're water proof and will shine brightly in the water." Julie instructed. They heard whistling and howling. "The crew's here." Ricoh called nodding towards the entrance. "The country girl that boards like a pro is back." One guy called. She hugged them all as Bryan watched the interaction quietly. "SV this is Bryan." She introduced. "Bryan, this is SV. He's the one who introduced is to night surfing out here. That's his brother Tip and their girlfriends Lace and Trish." They all got acquainted as she did the same with Chance. "What happened to J man?" SV asked once they were in the water. "Left him. Bryan and I are still married." SV chuckled. "You're crazy girl." He told her before they caught a wave. They'd spent most of the the night there and it was going on 4 in the morning so they decided to leave and grab something to eat. "I was so sure Chance was done for after colliding with Tip." Bryan said as they talked about their amazing night. Sutton had proved Bryan wrong. It was more out there besides fields and water.
"I'm glad you had fun tonight." She told him as she lotioned her skin. She was wearing a bra and matching panties that made her skin glow and her hair had become curly so it fell pretty down her back. "It was different." He told her as she climbed in bed with him. He was rubbing on her soft skin. "I was thinking." He told her. "I'm listening." She said. "Traveling ain't so bad but how do you decide on where to be?" He asked, simply wondering. She sighed deeply. "You're wondering if I'm coming back to Greenfield." She said sitting up. "I love where I grew up. It made me the woman I am with a few minor bad influences and it also brought me the man I love but it's not somewhere I see my life settling until later." She was now standing in front of the window. "I just don't think I can give up everything there." He said. "I haven't given anything up there Bryan. It's still home. I just made another life somewhere else. You can turn your business into a major company and make so much more than you do going from town to town. It could be in higher places. It doesn't have to reside in Greenfield." She told him as she sat on her knees in front of him. "Where would we even begin?" He asked. "New York and L.A." She told him. He kissed her lips and nodded. "Marry me." She told him. He stopped kissing her and pushed her back a little too look at her. "Where'd that come from?" He asked. She sighed. "We know who we want in life and what we both want. I love you and only you. Besides Moon we're already hitched. How much more do you want?" She asked with a smirk. "Why do you wanna be married to be married to me anyways?" He asked with a smile. "So I can do this." She said before kissing him. He laid back as she straddled him. "So what do say we get hitched Ms.Howard?" He says causing her to scream with excitement. Chance and Leo bust into the room to find them kissing. "Dammit woman we thought something happened." Leo told her. They both laughed. "Nothing but this cowboy over here wants to marry me. Again." She said kissing him. "Delightful." Leo said as he began walking away. Chance closed the door to leave the pair alone.
"So you two are really gone try the marriage thing again?" Chance asked as he ate his brunch. Sutton rolled her eyes. "You make it sound like we're committing murder." She said as she took a bite of her fish. He chuckled and took a sip of his Orange juice. "I'm saying that you guys didn't necessarily succeed the first time." She chuckled. "Yeah you're right but when you know, you just know." She told him before everyone else finally woke up and made their way into the kitchen for coffee and food. "What was all the commotion last night?" Julie asked as she leaned against the counter with a cup of coffee. "Bryan and Sutton." Chance answered before taking another bite of food. "What's new there?" She replied, turning her bank on them again to fix food. "Their getting married." Leo answered. "Again." The pair added. She spit out her fruit and coughed a little. "Why is everyone reacting like this?" She asked in amazement. "Guys, it's not like we're new to this. We have an understanding on things now. Julie, you know what this means to me." She told her. "If it's what makes you guys happy." She told them. "New York or LA?" Ricoh asked. "New York." They answered in unison. "Big wedding or small?" Leo asked. "Small." They answered again. "Traditional or unique?" Julie asked. "Unique." Chance answered. "They went through 2 weddings before just doing it. Mr. Howard was so pissed with them because neither of them was ever able to be found." They all chuckled. "Private or public?" Leo asked. "Private." They all answered. "The whole spectacle with Justin still hasn't cleared and I'm still considered a big deal so completely private." Sutton answered. "When?" Chance asked. "This week." Bryan answered. Sutton choked on her juice. "What?" She asked him. "This week. It'll be quick, private and small. Nobody will have to know but the 4 others here. At least until we're ready. Besides I'm taking a chance by living in New York so may as well make it useful. But we eventually have to tell your parents. I refuse to have your dad trying to kill me again." He told her. She looked around the room before looking back at him. "Okay." She told him the same time he had the ring in his hand waiting for her to look. Her eyes watered up. "Awww I hate you guys so much." She said as he slid the ring on her finger. "It was a really cute idea. Tho I did think he was full of shit when he talked about it last night." Julie said as she sat on the counter next to Chance. "It was sweet." She said before kissing him. The rest of that day was filled with minimal activity. They packed. Ordered in and watched movies before falling asleep for their flight the next day.
The day had finally come. It wasn't planned and it wasn't anything big. It was the 6 of them, with an officiant in her beautifully decorated warehouse. After the I do's they celebrated and continued life happily.
