Sensible people will see trouble coming and avoid it, but an unthinking person will walk right into it and regret it later.

Taylan's POV
We're all seated under the gazebo while we talk and laugh together but more than that, Ronica and Ashely are tearing up their lunches;
Head first into the styrofoam box and a mouthful of patty and coco bread.
Jah
Lone shellings
They got dismissed almost ten minutes subsequent to our actual lunch time, which is 12:15.
We had options and they had Biology so they were together. On the other hand, I had Accounts.
The amtosphere is frigid, but amidst the erratic gush of strong breeze, everything is pretty much the same as any average school day.
The first formers are wild though...that's for sure.
I saw a group of them playing mama lashy
Helpppp!
"Yuh really nah buy nutt'n T?" Ashley asks me for the second time.
She bought a cheese patty, coco bread, a tortillas and a cran wata and Ronica bought a large lunch, a cran wata and a popsicle.
"No sah, I'm not hungry." I tell her reassuringly.
Suh you tell yourself
I try to dismiss the thought of food and hunger altogether.
"Jus gimmie yuh money den." Ronica says between bites and chews of her chicken.
I visibly roll my eyes.
Shi almost done ih food enuh
"Ha ha....funny." I can't help but snort.
It's always money with Ronica.
"How you reach suh early by the way? Yuh reach before ih two a wi enuh." Ronica adds.
I laugh.
"Nuh taxi mi tek, know how early mi did affi wake. I got here before everyone. Literally. Barrett was the only one here when I arrived...but."
I pause immediately, contemplating the next words wanting to leave my lips.
For some reason, I don't feel like I should tell them about what I saw this morning.
As I said, it could mean something but it could be nothing too and I don't want be the reason as to why any unnecessary drama starts.
I'm assuming it was a student- an assumption and moreso, I don't even know who it was.
I really have no business saying anything to either Ashely or Ronica about this but I'm not going to lie....
I kinda want to know
"But??" She urges.
I shrug, "But yea, that's it." I finally say.
Ronica rolls her eyes and sinks her teeth into the chicken leg, almost cleaning the bone completely.
"Shi addicted to Bishops enuh, a sad sad story fi a next day." Her speech is muffled as she chews.
Ashley goes in for a drink of her cran wata and that's when Ronica does a double take.
