After speaking to Rick and his new girlfriend I was shown round some more meeting people who were new and people who I knew before.
Carol was one of them, we hugged tight and shared memories of her daughter. Then there was Carl.
Mini Sheriff I use to call him and still do. We laughed at the name and I met his baby sister who shared a small resemblance to Shane... though that's a matter I shouldn't concern myself with.
I smiled looking down at the little girl who babbled trying to get me to pick her up before I was called off to walk alongside Maggie.
"So... you're the girl Glen was on about all those years ago"
She said smiling sadly and ruffling my hair making me frown "you talk in past tense?"
"You haven't heard?"
I shook my head as we neared a grave yard specifically one with a pocket watch.
"Glen died... N-Negan murdered him"
I could hear the pain in her voice, she was still grieving and was full of anger. I placed a hand on her shoulder and guided her into my chest for her to cry.
"Pizza boy was one of my favourites"

Waving goodbye to Rick and the others I closed the door behind me and turned to Daryl with a grin.
"Looks like your wish has been granted Dar... where's the bed?"
His face went bright red making me giggle and race up the stairs finding the only room with a mattress on the floor and some plates on the window sill.
"It's a me-mess sorry"
I shook my head and shedded my jacket like a second skin and jumped into the bed kicking off my shoes as the sun began to set.
"You joining me or what?"
With a nod of his head he climbed in behind me and pulled me close making my lips twitch.
Daryl was warm, kind, strong, masculine, sexy and so much more... he was perfect in my eyes however my mind would betray me every time I was about to go sleep.
A deep feeling of regret and resentment began to build in my gut telling me - no yelling at me that I was doing something I shouldn't.
I wasn't betraying anyone.
At least that's what I thought.
Chapped lips pressed on my head along with a range of sweet words which soon began to turn into mumbled nonsense.
Daryl had fell asleep.
And I followed suit blissfully unaware of what was to come.
