Birthday and labor

Courtney's PoV

It's my 16th birthday today and next month I'm due to give birth but my midwife says it is likely that I will be going into labor early so it better to be ready I've got my bag ready and it's always by the door just I case. Inside I have a spare pair of clothes, a baby grow and everything else I was told to take. I got dressed into a pale blue dress which is meant to stop just below my knees but because I'm pregnant it is shorter than that. My bump is really big now well of corse it would be. Mum said I could dye my hair today as a birthday treat but I said I am going to wait until I've had little one here. I was sat on the sofa which mum who had brought my birthday present to me for me to open these were the ones which were just from mum and my friends and then later I we were going to the rovers and aunt Chelle, Steve and Liz were going to give me my presents. I opens my ones from my friends which were basically Bethany and Faye. I open the ones from Bethany first and I had a set of Bright nail polish, a charm bracelet and a bright red lipstick. I remember why she got me this. We were joking about what we want to be when we are older so I said something (try and guess) and she said thank for giving me an idea for you present. I next moved onto the presents from Faye she got me 2 things one thing was my the baby it was a babygrow saying 'I'm like Mummy' I smiled and she brought me a top set for when I've given birth it was a set of three vest tops the first one was yellow with pink writing saying 'hope' the second was a pink top with green writing on saying 'love" and the third was green with yellow writing saying 'faith' I smiled at them and got my phone out and scrolled to Bethany's number "thank you bettttthhhh" I sent and then find Faye's number "thank you bum for my present" I say before going onto mums presents I open the first one and it was an iPhone 5c in white and I smile widely "omg mum I love it thank you so much" I say with a smile and go onto my next presents which were summer dresses, cases for my phone, another charm bracelet, a Cookie Monster onesie, top, dressing gown phone case and a headband. 2 baby grows for my baby. One said 'mummy's my queen' and the other one said 'I'm a mini Mummy' I laughed at the second one "thank you mummy" I say giving mum a hug. "Do you want to go out for breakfast or stay in for breakfast" mum asks "can we go to Roy's for breakfast" I ask "corse we can" mum says and I pick up my new phone and my old one and go and get my bag from my room and then go back to the kitchen area. While in the kitchen I get a glass of water and take my iron tablets. After taking my tablets I pick my 16 badge up off the counter top and pin it to my top after I have done this we leave the flat and walk down the stairs and then we walk across the street and head to Roy's and have breakfast. "Happy Birthday Courts" Roy says to me as we enter "Thanks Roy" I say to him as we go in and over to the counter "what can I ge you" Roy asks Me and mum. "could I have bacon sandwich with a hot chocolate and a iced finger please" I ask Roy with a smile and he jots it down "a coffee with a slice of toast please Roy" mum then says. "I'll bri them over" Roy says so me and mum sit down. At the table I turn my new phone on and transfer my numbers into the phones and send the same text to everyone before turning both phones off and putting them in my bag and Roy brings our food and drinks over "thanks Roy" I say and mum smiles before we start to eat and drink. I soon get a text from Bethany asking if I want to go into town "mum can I go into town with Bethany please" I ask mum and she said yes so when I've finished eating she gives me some money and I go and meet Bethany "happy birthday red Queen" Bethany says and I laugh "let me guess my new nickname" I ask and she nods she invites me in for a bit and David, max, Lily, gale and Sarah were. They were doing their own things so I stood with Bethany uncomfortably. They all looked round when they heard me, well apart from lily because she's only little "happy birthday" Sarah says to me "thanks Sarah" I say smiling "is your badge big enough" David asks me and I roles my yes before answering "I think it could be bigger" I say with a small laugh "well we're going to go into town now, see you later" Bethany says as she leads me out the house. We go into town and go into shops and then we go into Starbucks because why not Starbucks is bae it's perfect and what's a birthday without a Starbucks. We sit at a table drinking our Starbucks "so what have to got so far the" Bethany asks me "well apart from what you got me, I've got a set of vest tops, 3 baby grows, an iPhone 5c in White, summer dresses, cases for my phone, another charm bracelet, a Cookie Monster onesie, top, dressing gown phone case and a headband" I say everything I got. And Bethany smiled like she was up to something but I don't know. We spent three hours in town before we go home and take everything we brought back to our houses we went to mine and then Bethany's but it was strange, their wasn't anyone about. We stayed at Bethany's for a while I till she said lets go to the rovers so we did.
