The Mini Bus Crash

Courtney's PoV

Today was the awards ceremony and Roy said he would look after Chrystal so I could go with mum, I didn't really want to leave her, it will be the first time I've left her since I've had her and I was really nerves, i put Chrystal into her bouncer chair and get changed into my black dress with my pale pink vans and then did my hair and grabbed my old iPhone because I didn't want my new one to get broken or lost or what ever and I did my light make up before logging into snapchat, Facebook and Twitter before picking something for Chrystal to wear, I choose her mini mouse collection and then her white coat onesie thing before going to get her from her bouncy chair and lyeing her down on my bed and changing her before taking a picture for Facebook and then opening snapchat and take a picture of Chrystal and caption it 'Chrystal ready for Roys 💚' and add it to my story before going to my full length mirror and take a picture and caption it 'ready for the award ceremony 👌' and then send that to my story. I get a message on Facebook from Jayla-Rose "when you setting off" she asks me and I said when evreyone is ready and I've dropped Chrystal off. I pick Chrystal up and head to the kitchen and do her milk in her bottles and put them into her changing bag. Mum was dressed up all smart and she picked up a few of Chrystals Teddys and we left. Mum locked the door and we went down the stairs. Mum got Chrystal pushchair out of the cupboard under the stairs and I placed her in their covering her up and mum placed the Teddys in the pushchairs before I put her changing bag onto the pushchair and mum opens the door before I push her out. I stop outside and wait for mum to lock the cupboard and leave the doors and then we walk over to Roys we enter and Roy welcome us "right Chrystal be a good girl for Roy" I say picking up my little girl and giving her a hug and kiss before placing her in the pushchair and Roy smiles "I'll take good care of her" he re-assures me, I guess it was easy to tell that I was scared to leave her. Well wouldn't you if your father Tryed to take her just a few weeks ago, I said bye once more and me and mum head over to outside the rovers where evreyone was stood waiting for us, Steve had the mini bus. Evreyone mumbled finally "sorry we're late, madam here didn't want to leave Chrystal" mum says and I bite my lip. Mum sat in the front of the mini bus with Steve as him and aunt chelle have had a little falling out so aunt chelle sat next to mum who was sat next to Steve in the mini bus.. I sat next to Maddie, you may not believe this but when going on long journeys I get travel sick I pulled my sickness tablets from my bag and take 3 even though I'm only ment to take one every hour, it shouldn't harm tho, should it. I sat by the window and my head starts spinning. Mum looks at me and she realises what was happening, my travel sickness was already kicking in, I get my self all wound up and panicked mum whispers something to Maddie and she nods before getting into the mini bus. I closed my eyes taking deep breaths trying to calm myself down as Steve starts the engine I try to think that it was mum next to me holding my hand like she had done when she had to go to the care home with me but it wasn't helping. I soon feel someone's hand take mine and I open my eyes to see Maddie holding my hand, I relax slightly feeling my phone go off in my pocket I take it out with my right hand and read the message "hey coco, hope your having a good journey don't forget to send me pictures" Jayla says making me laugh. We go over a bump in the road and I squeeze maddies hand "it's okay Courtney" Maddie said softly she started doing what mum used to do which must have been what she whispered to her.

I had calmed down and the journey was in full swing. I had taken snap chats with Maddie and saved them and posted them to my story. My story was more than 300 seconds long I bet it would annoy people. I was taking pictures of evreyone. We were an hour into the journey and suddenly a car started trying to ram us or so I thought. I started to panic once again and this time Maddie trying to calm me down didn't help. We were soon driven off the road and the mini bus flipped over making me hit my head hard before passing out I feel the mini bus rolling and that was all I knew before everything went Black and quite.

Maddies POV

Courtney had gotten really panicked and nothing would calm her down. We had been driven off the road by some stupid boy racers. Courtney hit her head when the mini bus crashed and now de wasn't moving. I got my seat belt of before checking her for a pulse, I found one that aas a relief, the back door was opened and evreyone had got out well evreyone who wasn't unconscious and hurt. I went back in and helped Carla out who had hit her head too but hers wasn't as bad as Courtney's. After helping Carla I went and helped them get Courtney out. Her arm was stuck and their was a lot of blood from her head. We finally managed to get her free and helped her out, I checked her pulses again before lyeing her down on the floor safely. I then went to help get sinead out which was more difficult than getting Courtney out. Just as we get her out the ambulances arrive and explain the extent of everyone's injuries, after explaining to 4 paramedics what was wrong with everyone they went over to Courtney "she's got a pulse, her arm got trapped and she had lost a lot of blood" I explain to the paramedic who was lifting her onto the stretcher.

- The next day -

Courtney's POV

I woke up with a pounding headache and in a room which I didn't recognise. It was all quite and none was with me. I started to panic where was Chrystal, where's mum. I worried. I didn't remember what happened. I had pins and needles in my hand but after I had moved it it was a lot better. Is at up in t he bed I was in and had a pain in my head again. Soon someone came into the room and followed by mum "how are you feeling Courtney" the nurse asked me and I shrugged "my head hurts but apart from that I'm fine" I say "when can I go home, I need to see chrystal" I immediately say after "we want to keep you in for observation as you've lost a lot of blood, so I'd you are strong enough tomorrow after the blood transfusion we will think about sending you home" the nurse says to me "can chrystal come in to see me" I asks "who is chrystal" the nurse asks me "my daughter" I say hoping she would let my little girl come visit me "okay" she says and mum said she would go and pick chrystal up from Roy's. I sit on my bed looking out the window of the hostpitsl room until mum comes back with chrystal "hello princess, mummy has had an accident but she will be back home hopefully tomorrow" I say to her as mum passes her to me she babbles and I smile "have you missed mummy" I ask her again and she babbles and claps this time a hold her a little longer until she gets moody so mum takes her and puts her in the pushchair. A nurse comes in with blood and said its time for my blood transfusion so I waited for the needle to go I'm my arm and then visiting times was over so I was left alone.
