Baby Tests

Courtney's POV

We were going to have tests down now we have just got to the hospital, Chrystal has just had her tests done and she's now with mum, she's fine, didn't breath any smoke in and they said my thinking was better than anyone else's. I've been coughing ever since the fire and it hurts. "Right Courtney I need you to lift your top up" the midwife asks me "I'm in a onesie, how am I mant to do that?" I ask confused "okay put this on and keep your onesie on " the midwife said and I did what she said "so it may be cold at first, we just need to check of your baby is still healthy" she tells me so I nod. The Jels put on and she uses the probe to see if she can see the baby "not to alarm you or anything but we can't find the baby's heartbeat, we will have to take you down for an MRI scan to give us an indeapth picture, at this moment in time we can only think positively" the midwife tells me so I nod once again, it hurt to hear that they couldn't find my baby's heartbeat. "The docter will be down to take you to the MRI scan soon, would you like anything in the meantime" she asks me "just to see my mum and to see Chrystal" I answer "if that's evreything then I'll tell them they can come through" the midwife says and I nod just scared of losing the baby, I just broke down, the thought of losing my little baba worried me. Mum comes in and sits on the edge of the bed with Chrystal, "Coco, what happened babe" mum asks me "they can't find my baby's heartbeat, my baby might be dead" I cry "Courtney think positive, don't be negative, your baby is a fighter just like you and Chrystal, just like me and your Uncle Rob, and with a mother like you I'm pretty sure you baby will win this fight" mum says to me "and even if it ends up the other way around you always have me, Michelle, Steve, Jayla, James, Faye, Bethany And basically the whole of the street would be by your side" mum tells me hugging me and holding Chrystal. I smile weakly "where will we stay while the flats are being redone" I ask mum "well Roy's said I can stay their and Liz has said you and Chrystal can stay their" mum tells me. I nod. I can tell mum blames herself for the fire, but it wasn't it was that evil witch Tracy, mum sits holding my hand and telling me what happened after me and chrystal had been brought to hospital "wait repeat that" I ask mum wanting to know if I actually heard mum correctly "Maddie, she's dead, she was trying to get to Sophie when their was an explosion" she said. I couldn't believe what I heard, Maddie was one of chrystals godmother and she's now dead. This wasn't fair why dose things like this happen to the best of people. We sit talking until the doctor comes into the room "we are ready to take Courtney down for her MRI" he says and mum lets go of my hand "I promice you Courtney that everything will be fine" mum says kissing my forhead as I'm wheeled out the room and down the hall

"Right Courtney we need you to lie really still on this bed" the doctet Tells me and I nod hopping onto the bed, and staying completely still. I go into this tube and soon come back out "okay courtney, we will take you back to your room and will have your results ready in an hour" he tells me and I nod and am taken back to the room. I was tired and could tell Chrystal was too "mum take Chrystal round to the rovers, I'll be alright" I tell mum but she shakes her head "we're staying right here staying with you every step of the way." Mum tells me and Chrystal babbles. Mum leaves the room and goes to find someone and they both come back with a Moses basket And mum places Chrystal in their with her teddy and blanket. "If you need anything else just ask, the doctor will be with you shortly" the nurse said and surely enough she was correct the doctet walked into the room "well we have the results from your MRI scan, and we were wondering if you were aware that you were having twins" the doctor asked me "were?" I ask confused "we could only find 1 heart beat" he said to me and I look down, I was expecting twins and lost one. "We have two choices, we can either give you a tablet which infuses the labor or we can give you a sizareion (I think m that's what it's called, where they cut you open)" the docter says to me and I look over to mum with tears in my eyes "I'll take the tablet" I say and he nods leaving the room "I was expecting twins" I say nurvesly and then I realised if I give birth now wouldn't my other baby get effected "mum would they give me the tablet now or would they give it to me later on in the pregnancy" I ask mum. And she shrugs unsure. I soon doze off into a deep sleep while mum sits in the chair beside my bed.

Sorry this was so short. I've got an idea what I want to write but it will have skipped to July or August because I want to start The Carla storyline because Carla is my bae and also Michelle is my bae and Aidan conner is 😍 anyway I'm going off my idea. Anyways hope you enjoy
