Apollo walked through the dark, luscious, jungle. "Silver, Silver, can you hear me?" Ruby shouted into the foliage "Are you sure we're going the right way ?" she turned to ask Apollo. "Not really," he admitted "not really? The heck does that mean?" Ruby shouted at the boy who continued on his way "the guy talked about a test, that means he's probably watching Silver, meaning if we find the guy, we find my brother" Apollo explained "you know, you've probably been hanging around Viktor a bit too much" she halfheartedly quipped as the two wandered off "maybe"Apollo quipped back.
Yang winced at the boy as he carried her. "My leg's fine now, you can let me down" she bluffed "don't take this the wrong way, but for some reason I don't really believe you" he said to her as he continued his march "and besides even if I did letcha down you don't have your weapon on you and I'm not sure I could fight with talaria like this," "talaria ?" "My weapons, apparently all good weapons have names. A friend told me that one, although I haven't actually gotten the time to tell her that they've got a name now. Guess I've been too busy-" "why're ya talkin' so much" "talking helps you ignore pain, the stab hurt way more than i gave it credit for at first." he admitted to Yang as the wound conveniently spat out more blood. "Then why don't you just set me down, you're just causin' yourself more pain" "cause your hurt, a hero never lets an innocent suffer if he can do something about it" the boy proudly said with his remaining composure. "Well, I believe i've heard enough" the figure said as he appeared in front of Silver, causing him to hop back a bit( and a few ounces of blood to spurt out of his teeth) "let's get the others here" he snapped and the Sangayro fell from above causing the earth to shake.
Sun and Ruby had been walking for what seemed like hours. "Are you sure we're going the right way ?" Ruby asked before a thunderous crash rang out from the direction they were headed "I dunno, mabey" Apollo said as the two ran towards the source. When the two arrived they found Silver face to face against the man and the fifteen foot grimm. Ruby charged at the monster, the beast retaliated by merely swatting the reaper away with its tail. Apollo on the other hand made a b-line over to Silver as fast as he could, only to be again thwarted by a swing of the tail. Despite the setback Apollo still noticed Silver's injuries, "get it away from them," Apollo shouted towards Ruby who was fruitlessly slashing at the beast's neck "quick question, HOW!!!??" the girl furiously asked the boy before the beast knocked the two skyward. Apollo took this chance and aimed for Silver's guts, he funneled his semblance into the shape of an arrow, he let the light fly before he was snatched up by the tail of the grimm, he was slammed against Ruby as the beast wrapped its tail against the two, trying to crush the life from them. Apollo hoped that he hit his mark as he could feel his aura beginning to tremble.
Silver watched in horror as his teammates battled the Sangyaro. He felt relieved however when Apollo managed to land a bolt of healing onto his side! He set Yang down to the side as he ripped out the shred of tree from his ribs and tossed it aside. He then looked to see the two being squeezed in the tail of the monster, he reached down and grabbed two of the extra dust cartridges from his thigh-belts. His mind slips back to his training before he winds up his attack.
Silver was in the kitchen at his uncle Rhodes place, his right hand in a pot of ice cold water. "Remember, aura isn't a solid shape, it's energy," Rhodes reminded him. Silver began to concentrate on his hand again, he imagined the water in the pot as part of his arm. He lifted his arm and the water came with it, as if he was wearing it like a glove. "Awsome," Adam remarked as the memory faded back to reality.
Silver punched the dust into the ground, he focused it through the ground where the two strands of dust met below the monster and shot back up. It took the shape of the end of a sword and severed the creature's tail, releasing Silver's teammates. The scarf wearing hero rushed over to them in the blink of an eye, catching them and returning to Yang. "You two hang here, I wanna try something" Silver said to the group as he dropped them near Yang. he then turned back to the giant gator, the thing roared and lashed out in pain and rage.
Silver ran behind the grimm and pressed a fistfull of dust into the ground, the dust forming a perfect circle around the beast. Silver then ran up one of the trees and blasted himself far into the sky. Silver blasted his boot only to swiftly catch the blast with the instep of his foot. Silver snapped and the dust on the ground whirred into an updraft, rocketing the grimm up past the trees. Silver focused the dust around his leg and spun around as he fell back into the earth. "Helicopter Hurricane!!!" Silver shouted the name of his attack as he made contact with the beast, his boot carved through the monster like a hot knife through butter. Silver landed and immediately went into his signature pose as the Sangyaro was ripped to shreds by supersonic winds. "Alright monster down, now to deal with you-" Silver turned back to the place where the mystery man was, only to find he had vanished "alrighty then. Let's get back to Ironwood."
Yang walked in a steady rhythm next to her mother. She could tell that this whole fiasco had done a number on her. "Ma, is everythin' alright ?" the blonde asked "wish i could say it was, how badly hurt is your leg" "not that bad, it'll probably be all good by tomorrow" "good, we'll be training hard, there's something big happening and I've gotta be there" "but ma, you haven't been a huntress since i was four!!!" "then I guess I'll have to shake the rust off my old skills."
Leo floated in the recovery pod. His wounds were still in recovery as his mentor walked into his view. "Here is the next session of your training, remember it's not simply brute strength, it's you vs your opponent." he said to Leo as he slid a disc into the pod's built-in player. Leo watched the footage of an injured Silver talking with an injured girl. Even if it was just a recording seeing the scarfed boy made the faunus' blood boil, he would kill him and he would make it HURT.
