Silver could tell he was laying on his couch, yet he couldn't remember how he got there. Someone was there with him, his head was on her lap as she gently stroked his hair. He tried to see anything else, yet everything else was blurry. Silver couldn't bring himself to sit up, it just didn't feel right. "To be honest, I'd expected you to be older when I saw you again like this." the Woman said in a... familiar voice. "Who... are you?" Silver asked the woman who giggled, "I'm so proud of you, my baby boy." Mercury's eyes widened as he turned his head to meet the face of his mother, Delphi Arc. "but-but you're-" "I'm still gone Mercury, we're just talking in your mind. It happens when someone's silver eyes awaken for the first time." "Awaken, what're you talking about?" Delphi sighed at the question. "It seems I have a lot to tell you about our secret powers."

Apollo looked up at his brother, the silver coated wings of an eagle spewing from his eyes. Mercury lowered Yang down in front of Apollo, the sunny boy healing the golden girl faster than a second thought. "I- I don't believe it." Ironwood said, completely dumbfounded "What the heck is happening with Silver?!" Weiss asked the adults who seemed too shocked to answer her question, "He got it, I've been trying for thirty years and he got it." Summer lamented to herself, confusing Ruby. Yang suddenly snapped back to her senses and looked at the static face that her boyfriend was wearing. She was just about to touch him, until a voice she was all too familiar with rang out. "Yes!!! This is the blooming of that potential within you! This will be-" The words of the invisible madman were cut short by a swift kick from Silver who from what everybody except for Apollo, Ruby, and Summer. Who could see instantly vanished twelve feet away just to kick the air, Apollo and Ruby saw the vanishing boy land a kick against the man that had stalked them for months now.

Ruby couldn't believe her vision, or lack thereof. Silver was fast, yet she'd always been able to keep up with him. This was crazy. Gemini got back to his feet and converted his shuriken into the scimitars mode. He tried to swing at Silver, yet his blow was repelled and countered in a split second. Gemini tried swiping at Silver from both sides, the wing eyed boy kicked the masked man in the jaw so hard he flew twelve feet into the air. Before Gemini could react Silver had already leapt up above him and stomped his face down to earth. Or at least it would have been earth if Silver hadn't blasted himself back down so he could catch Gemini's chest on his knee. Silver bounced the cultist up before spin kicking him in the face. Gemini skid across the sand before catching his footing. Silver disappeared... only for a blow to be blocked by a giant red sword with the man holding it also having silver eyes.

Viktor trudged through the uneven sand, holding the left shoulder of the younger Wukong while his sister held his right. He made a mental note to tune up the hoverboard to accommodate three people at once. They arrived near where they had beamed in to find the sight of Silver and his shining wings, the rest of the crowd of Heroes (including a healed Yang), and a large human with an impressive amount of scars and a gigantic red sword. " Oh... him" Viktor looked down to find Sun looking up at the giant of a man.

"What are you doing, why haven't you used your eyes?" the larger man barates Gemini who stood back up "and what?, ruin the boy's moment." Gemini said in that sickening voice of his "Y'know, one day those theatrics you love'll end up killing you." The giant man shouted at Gemini who leapt away, Silver tried to intercept only to be blocked by the man with the Giant sword. "Sorry Mars Jr., but your fight's with me." "GET AWAY FROM HIM!" The man then turned to Mars and James who had drawn their weapons. "Oh I hadn't noticed you two there, how's the arm doing for you James?" The giant taunted the general who had his weapon aimed shakily at him. Silver jumped up to kick the giant in the head, however the giant swung his blade to meet him. Silver was able to grab the blade mid swing and swing to where his boot met the large man's face. He skidded back a few inches, his hand patting the spot where Silver had kicked. "Huh, maybe Gemini's onto something with you kid." The two then charged at each other. The Giant's blade gleaming red.

"So I can just use them at will after this?!" Mercury asked his mother, who was still stroking his hair, "it'll be as easy as making a fist." suddenly the blurry parts of the room began to crumble and break away, revealing a gray void. "Oh, you're waking up" Delphi noted calmly, Mercury wasn't as calm. "Wait what does this mean for you?!" Delphi looked her boy in the eyes. "I'm glad I got to see how big and strong you've grown, my shining Silver." By this time the cracks had already reached the couch, they even creeped up the couch and onto Delphi's skin. Silver reached for his mother, only for the memory to shatter completely and the boy plummeted into the void.

Mercury jolted to a sitting position. He was in a hospital bed, he tried to look around only to be tackled back to his back by Yang. His girlfriend's tears hit his shoulder like warm rain as she nuzzled her face into his chest, mumbling something along the lines of 'I'm so glad you're safe'. Mercury hugged Yang back as she slowly got off of him. "Glad to see you're okay, how's everyone else?" Yang then froze up and turned away from Mercury. "What happened?!"
