Mercury leapt from his bed, Yang flinching before grabbing Mercury's arm. "Yang, I gotta see what's going on." "Please,.. just stay here" "Yang, you're scaring me here." the blonde began sobbing lightly as Mercury gently peeled himself from her grip. He flung the door open to see Adam, Viktor, and Weiss. They sat in hospital chairs facing towards Mercury's room. Viktor and Weiss had their hands clutched tightly together. Adam stared at the ground as if the rest of the world didn't exist. Before the silver eyed boy could ask Adam pointed to a room three doors to his right. "They're in there" he said, his eyes still glued to the tile. "ADAM !!!" Yang shouted before everyone noticed a drop of blood splat on the floor. "A-Adam!?" The faunus looked up to show that his healthy eye was crying normally, yet his acid eye had blood gushing down where tears were supposed to be. Weiss and Viktor looked closer at the faunus while Mercury and a close following Yang entered the room. Only to find a heavily wounded Apollo and Rhodes with a stab wound completely through his chest.

Mercury shifted through an empty spot between his father and the general, his uncle's eyes darting to his. "h-Hey there kid." The heart monitor then let out a sharp chirp and Mercury's hands were suddenly clutching his uncle's. "Kid, make me a promise." Silver nodded his head. "Go ahead and cry. Cry as hard and as long as you need. But sometimes you've gotta stop crying and light up the world with that great big smile of yours." Rhodes weakly said as his finger attempted to press into his nephew's chest. The world stopped a few seconds as Mercury could swear that Rhodes gave him a wink... before the heart monitor rang out as flat.

Silence was the only thing heard as tears flooded from the eyes of all those present. At least for a solid minute before a large boom could be heard from outside the hospital. The small crowd shuffled away from each other as Le-Sun was smashed through the wall by the giant man with the red sword. Silver flew into a blind rage and flung himself at the intruder, eyes filled to the brim with fury.

The five second scuffle took the two outside and into the Atlus streets. Where the giant then pinned Silver against one of the buildings by his neck. The two met eyes, silver to silver. "MERCURY!!!" Yang called out as her, Ruby,Adam, Weiss, Viktor, Ironwood, and Mars followed. "Good, You're all out here. At least all of you that matter." the giant stated snarkily. "LET HIM GO NOW!!!" Ironwood shouted as those that could aimed their weapons at the giant. "Sorry Jamesy, but I need to tell y'all something." "What, you...." "Oh yeah, I never quite introduced myself to you youngins. Just call me Brick." Brick then stabbed his blade in the ground, giant walls of red spikes then erupted around them forming walls. "You really Impressed me, Silver Shadow. I wanna fight you again. So here's the deal, I like to partake in a yearly tournament in Vacuo called the 'Hanging Styx Tourney' . It takes place seven months from now. So you train up and join when the time comes. You'll need yourself a team of five. Oh, and if you skip out... well I've already carved the next tombstone on my list." Brick then ripped the sword out of the ground, the spines exploding into omni-directional shrapnel. By the time Silver hit the ground and the others regained their composure, Brick had already vanished. By the time the others tried to get their attention back on Silver he had vanished too.

Yang swiftly ran back inside to grab her Port Badge that she left on the table in Silver's room. She was going to port before she heard a voice behind her. "Is he okay...?" She turned around to find Le-Sun staring at her as he leaned on the doorframe of the room. "You're in worse shape buddy." she answered him. She looked to her badge and back to Sun before walking over to him and porting them together. The two arrived in Mercury's living room, to find it completely trashed from a fight. They could see Mars,Ruby and Adam huddled around the dinner table. Yang took a step forward, creaking a loose board in the floor. The group turned around to find the duo, Mars' eyes letting loose a furious glance at Sun. "Sorry about the couch." Sun weakly says. Mars decided to lower his gaze for now. "What're you guys doing?" Yang asked as Ruby scooched over to let the duo in "Merc left a note." Yang glanced at the hastily written paper in the middle of the table.

Dear all who read this,

I'm going to be spending the Seven months that I've got in special training by myself. Don't worry, I can take care of myself until we meet again. And tell Dad I borrowed some of the camping stuff and I'll try to not break it.
