Silver walked around the dance floor as he carried the Dream Weaver. He eyed the tons of people as they danced their hearts out, then he looked to the terrifying monster in his arms. He knew if he let it out, it would spell disaster. Yang then tapped his shoulder snapping him out of his thoughts " over there" she said as she pointed at a strangely figured person with long flowy purple clothes that Silver saw people wear at St. Salem day festivals. The two of them walked in front of the person as they looked at them with eyes that had clearly seen too much in one life " I see you've got it" they said as they pointed at the case, Silver quickly handed them the thing and rubbed his arms with furious vigor "were you followed ?" They asked "I don't think so-"suddenly a large armored truck rolled into the lot caring Nora who crunched the concrete as she dropped from the tailgate, "scratch that they totally followed us " Silver withdrew his previous statement " you should get outta here, we'll hold em o-" Yang tried to say to the now very gone Shion " well let's go Silv-" Silver then grabbed Yang by the arms and dragged her to a dark corner.
" Silver what're you-" " shshah, this is a stealth mission remember " Silver reminded his partner as he rubbed off his face paint "besides they never saw you and they never saw me" he continued as he took of his jacket and flipped it inside out " so if we just start dancing they'll think we're just regular folk" Yang followed through as she reverted Ember Celica back to bracelet mode "more just like hanging out" "what, I thought you liked dancing Silver " " yeah that's the thing, I don't know how to square dance" Silver admitted as Yangs jaw hit the floor " how? Why?" " I just never found out how to turn it into an attack" Yang chuckled to herself at hearing this, she then grabbed the boy by his wrists " c'mon city boy, I'll show ya how to move" she said as she dragged him to the dance floor "okay then-" Silver said as he got dragged off.
Apollo watched the mobsters as they walked onto the dancefloor. "Where'd Silver and Yang go ?" Weiss asked her friend " I don't know, and how are you guys seeing here ?" Apollo asked as he searched the floor for his sibling " oh I installed a camera into your headset" Viktor said without any style of shame " so did you give all of us cameras or am I just special ?" "I only had time to do three" "which ones ?" "Me, you and Yang cause we're the most likely to be kidnapped, considering Yang's credentials and our unique semblances" Viktor explained as Apollo found Yang dragging Silv- nope Mercury by his wrists " okay just for curiosity's sake, who's the least kidnappable?" Weiss asked as Apollo reasoned the danger his teammates were in "Obviously Adam" "really?" All of the other kids asked in unison " yeah, nobody would wanna kidnap you bud" "HEY" Adam shouted at the boy genius as the other two began giggling. "Wait a minute, there they are!" Weiss shouted, seemingly having spotted Mercury and Yang as they attempted to blend in " why aren't they fighting the bad guys?" Viktor asked " because it's a stealth mission, clearly you've never been on one " Adam stated annoyed. "This is as good a time as any to shoot em with the arrows" Weiss said "they'll notice them" Apollo said pointing at the mobsters and then to his teammates " don't worry, the rods are designed to detach as soon as their fired " Viktor reassured the boy as he then loaded one of the rods into Dawnrocker " you better not be lying to me about this Vik" Apollo said as he pointed the arrow towards his brother.
Apollo put his eyes on his shot, he pulled back the drawstring as he aimed square at his neck before he began to think, was this a good thing to do? Mercury would be happier if he did this right, after all Yang was already into him, and Merc wouldn't try to get a girlfriend because of his... secret. It couldn't be that bad in the long run could it? Apollo then thought about his brother and all of their life together, would he do this to him? "What're you waiting for, shoot !!" Weiss ordered from his comms, Apollo lined up his shot before giving the situation a last thought as he shot his arrow into the roof!! Apollo then ripped the twin rod and threw it to the concrete and began stomping on it as fast as he could despite the thunderous complaints of his friends, though Apollo was too busy crying to hear them.
Mercury was totally in the moment as Yang swung him around. He tried his best to follow the movements of her boots as they spun around. He turned to look her in the eyes to see them sparkling as they stared back at him. The deep violet looked like a beautiful sunset next to the sun yellow of her hair, the way they looked at him made him feel like he was safe, stronger, and energized, only complemented by her caring smile and carefree expression. "We should probably get outta here" "wh-what, oh yeah" Yang's words yoinked Mercury back to the real world as he checked his surroundings to see a lack of Nora Valkyrie. "Alright, Let's go" the boy said as the two walked away from the stage and into the shadows. They beamed away as the last lyrics of the song rang out to the crowd.
Yang ported back into Mercury's living room to find her mother and Merc's father waiting for them, they just so happened to be holding onto each other. "Okay then," Raven said as she pried Yang's hands off of Mercury's surprisingly toned arms "s'pose this means we'll be going" the woman said as she bolted out of the door with her daughter in tow. "What's wrong ma ?" Yang asked, acting the fool "you and that boy better not have been fooling around Yanguang" Yang's face then turned as red as her mother's eyes " oh ma, he'd never, we didn't do nothing like that. There was this dance and we were in disguise and he didn't know how to square dance, oh mama it was just, it was just so, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARG" Silver screamed at the top of his lungs "Stop *thunk* Thinking *thunk* About *thunk* Her" *thunk* Silver was keeping himself busy breaking his wall as he tried to take his thoughts of Yang. Yang with her beautiful smile, and her incredible eyes, and her worry free attitude, and that smell of honey wherever she was, and that way she breathed when she danced, and-. "GRAGH, SHUT UP BRAIN" * THUNK*.
"Raven this is Qrow, it's bad, really bad." "What's going on, you sound winded ?" "They found our house, I don't know how but they did!" "Qrow, what's going on, what happened ?" "It's Ruby, they took Ruby !!!"
