Evelyn's pov
"Mom you have to eat to feel better"
She kept on refusing
"Mom!"
"What?" She answered nastily
"Well am going to school since you're not ready to eat" I picked up my sweater and my backpack
"Bye make sure you eat that food mom" I said sternly as though I was her mom
I closed the door. Normally Jeremy and jasmine will pick me up but he wasn't feeling well so I walked to the community college. my mom couldn't afford sending me to a proper college especially with her illness I had a scholarship to go to havard college the most beautiful college here In New York for my final year. so until then I have to tolerate being bullied.
As I walked in the bell rang for the first class
"Holy shit I have my biology test today" I ran like ran
I opened the door
"May I come in ma'm"
"No. why are you late don't tell me it's because of your sick mother again?"
"I'm sorry ma'm"
She eyed me from head to toe saying "can't you dress well see your shoe look at your hair"
My only decent shoe was wearing out but I tried to maintain it And my hair what's wrong with it I washed and combed it this morning it's still damp
"Sorry ma'm I'll try better next time"
"Come on enter the class" she hissed
I sat on my desk near the window I loved the breeze hitting against my skin
"Bring out your writing materials. Josh share these" she gave him the answer papers
He shared all the papers and made sure I was the last I was used to being treated like a piece of shit
Then later he shared the question papers also making me the last 100 0bj and 6 theory
"You have 1 hour 45 minutes start"
Immediately I began answering the questions
"20 minutes has passed"
"Psss" Rose was calling me
I turned to her
"Number 27"
I was a people pleaser and people took advantage of that

"59 minutes left"
I was already on the theory when josh threw a paper at me
What the hell! I opened it and it read
Tell me the answer from 78 to 100 now!
What the is he mad i threw the paper back at him
He glared at me
I continued my work
"24 minutes left"
Boom 💥 I'm done I know I aced this test
