That's weird at least she's okay i sighed finally getting something off my chest

I realized I was still in the dining area. I stood up getting ready to go to my room but was stopped by  Mr Brook I thinks that abetted way to call him right it's formal at the same time not too formal

"Let's discuss" he said showing no expression on his face He took my right hand and dragged me towards the living room area he sat down and looked upto to me expecting me to sit beside him I took the initiative and sat on the opposite couch

He frowned his face but quickly replaced with an expressionless face

"Let's draw up a contract for this marriage" he said going straight to the topic  dropping an envelope on the table

"Contract?" I kept it would come sooner or later but not this early. Wasn't contract marriage illegal I don't want to get involved in illegal things
