Vampires. They didn't always exist. They appeared suddenly and sent the earth and all who inhabited it into panic. In the beginning, the humans thought that they could contain them and thus the world was split into two. A border was constructed, it's purpose was to separate the two races. The vampires had their side and the humans had theirs but that didn't fix the problem.

Vampires were known to the humans as vile bloodsuckers, not being able to survive without feasting upon human flesh and blood and nothing could stop a hungry vampire. There had been multiple times where vampires had broken the peace by entering the home of the humans and the border was rendered useless. Eventually the humans took steps to improve security by creating Hunters.

Hunters were to eliminate all and any vampires that set foot on human territory, but of course this caused the vampires to retaliate by creating their own line of defense. This led to a war between the two races, one that still continues to this day...

Said to first be born under a red moon, vampires continued to quickly multiply.

Vampires they didn't always exist. They appeared suddenly and sent the earth and all who inhabited it into panic. There wasn't a weapon strong enough to eliminate them all... or was there?
