The past couple of days had been a whirlwind of emotions for Edvin ever since the big reveal about the cast of "Invisible String." Sure, he was used to the attention that his music brought, but this was a whole new level. The internet, usually a friendly playground for him, had turned into a bit of a battleground. Among the sea of support, there were negative comments and pesky articles worming their way into Edvin's head. Yeah, he got it. People were concerned about his acting, this was his acting debut after all. But here's the twist that was tying his stomach in knots: suddenly, everyone and their aunt were dissecting his and Adrian's sexualities. It was like some kind of movement had sparked, with #QueerRoles4QueerActors blazing across Twitter. Edvin had a lot to say, but alas, he was bound by the chains of a contract that demanded PR approval before he could utter any word regarding the movie. It just didn't make sense to Edvin. Why do people always feel so entitled to know other people's sexualities? Especially when it came to Celebrities. Edvin didn't owe anyone any explanations why he decided to play this role.

"You're gonna be fine," Jess chimed in from her spot beside Edvin. They were en route to their first of many press events for the film. "Just don't let your dramatic ass do anything stupid."

"Yes, ma'am," Edvin quipped back, mock-saluting his assistant. Truth be told, it had been a hot minute since Edvin had been to an event like this. Lucky for him, he wasn't scheduled to give any interviews. This was more about flashing smiles at cameras and working that charm on the studio execs to secure a decent budget for the movie.

As soon as Edvin stepped out of the car, nerves skedaddled. The pandemonium of fans, the flashes of cameras—it was like a warm hug from his past. And you know what? He decided to make a detour, a pit stop for the best part: his adoring fans. Signing autographs, taking selfies—it was his bread and butter. Meeting these folks and hearing how his music had impacted their lives? That was the real reason he was in the game.

"Have you met Adrian yet?" A fan's teary-eyed question pierced through the excitement. "What's he like? Is he as dreamy in person as he is on screen?"

Edvin offered a playful smile, posing for a snapshot before gracefully moving on. Oh boy, it looked like he had some Q&A sessions about his co-star in his future...

Jessica, the ultimate wrangler, tugs Edvin away from his fans and steers him toward the photographers. "Let's flash those pearly whites, shall we?" she fixed his tux's collar.

But before Edvin could work his angles for the paparazzi, the crowd's screams kicked up a notch. And then, like a tidal wave of swoons, the object of Edvin's recent contemplation was charging at him. Before he could blink, Adrian had swept him up in a hug, spinning him around all up in his sacred personal space... Again. Cameras snapped, capturing the unscripted moment. Edvin recovered quickly, flashing his smile for the cameras. Looks like he'd need to get used to this sort of thing when it came to Adrian.

Stepping inside the venue, Edvin wasted no time. "Next time, a little warning before you do something stupid like that again?" He ran his fingers through his brown curls. He was suddenly more aware of their height difference. Don't get it wrong, Edvin wasn't short, he was 5'10, but the man in front of him, had quite a few inches on him. He had a better build too, wide shoulders, he was definitely hitting the gym aka Edvin's worst nightmare. Luckily Edvin kept fit by dancing and performing.

"Here, put in your number so I can alert you the next time I do anything." Adrian handed his phone to Edvin. He noticed his flushed cheeks.

Edvin raised an eyebrow, detecting a hint of mockery in Adrian's voice. He obliged, though.

"Are you mocking me?" He handed his phone back to its owner.

"Jeez, live a little... Are you always this serious?"

"Sir, yes sir!" Edvin exclaimed followed by a soldier-like salute. What was with him and saluting everyone tonight?

"I'm gonna need a drink." His co-star stated and disappeared into a crowd. At least they can agree on something, Edvin thought to himself.

A few vodka sodas later, Edvin was feeling the buzz. A few more, and he was unmistakably on his way to being, well, a bit pissed as the English would say.

"We should probably head out before we cause any scandalous headlines," Jess reasoned, relieving Edvin of his drink.

"But wait!" Edvin protested, pointing toward the other side of the room. "Gotta say bye to my co-star."

"Excuse me, gents," Edvin announced with his newfound liquid courage. "Can I borrow my Elias for a sec?"

A couple of disapproving grey-haired men in suits glared at him, but at this point, Edvin was beyond caring. Adrian appeared at his side, guiding him to the bar, and Jess gracefully handled the executives.

"You're drunk," Adrian remarked, ordering a glass of water.

Edvin downed the water, a tad defiantly. "Hey, you're the one who told me to live a little." He poked the taller man's shoulder.

"That's not what I meant. Here, let me help you get back to Jessica." He put his arms around Edvin's shoulders, invading his personal space, once again. Also, how did he know his assistant's name?

"I'm fine, jeez, live a little, blondie." He shrugged off the arm from his shoulder.

"Are you always this much drama?" The man was a little too close to him than Edvin would have liked. He also smelled a little too nice too.

"Do you always invade other people's personal space without consent?" Edvin shot back.

"He was absolutely right about you." Who is 'he' Edvin wondered to himself.

But before he could actually ask the question, a man with a camera approached the pair. "Would you mind if I take a picture of the two of you guys?"

"Sorry, now is not a good time." Adrian politely declined.

"Nonsense! Take a picture of this." Edvin reached up, cupped his co-star's face and sloppily smashed their lips together.
