"You should take it as a compliment that I got drunk and made fun of the way you talk". The lyrics echoed in the studio. It was around 2 am now but Edvin wasn't ready to go to sleep yet. The inspiration has struck and it had a name... It wasn't the first time Edvin had a crush on someone, to be frank, he had a crush more often than not. That's where most of his inspiration came when he was writing love songs. This one though, might be a little more problematic than his usual ones. The next 6 months of his life, he must spend making out with the man. It's fine, right? Edvin thought to himself.
"You ruined my life by not being mine" line came to his head. He remembered the times his and his co-star's eyes locked earlier today and the line "ocean blue eyes, looking in mine, I feel like I might, sink and drown and die." Came to his head. He wasn't sure if he should keep that in the song. Adrian was known for his blue, ocean-like eyes... Well, he wasn't even sure if this song would ever see the light of day so he might as well go all out.
A couple of hours later, he had the basic structure of the song down – the first one he'd ever written about Adrian. It was the beginning of what would eventually become a collection, but let's not jump too far ahead. He shot a message to his producer, eager to hit the studio together as soon as possible, then headed to bed. As he lay there, he spent about an hour mulling over thoughts of his co-star before drifting off to sleep.
It was Sunday when the pictures of their date came out, just a day before the filming was set to begin. And they looked good, really good. Both boys looked all smiley and like they were genuinely enjoying each other's company. He took a screenshot of his favourite picture of the two of them, the one where they are toasting their glasses and sent it to Adrian.
