Y/N POV

"I don't know why you want a job,can't you just lay down and enjoy being out" I said to Robin,Robin chuckled while putting on his shoes

"I need to get money,I'll lay down when I can but for now I need to fill up my pockets" he said after looking at me,I sighed.He stood up from my bed and walked over to me

"Don't you want pretty things? Like clothes and jewelry-i can get you your mom's favorite perfume so you can wear it" he spoke,I scoffed before smirking

Robin knows how much me and Ashley love our mom's stuff,it just makes us feel like she's here with us.

"I don't care about getting gifts robin,I'm happy with just you" I told him while stepping up to him closer,he smiled before he puckered his lips hinting that he wanted a kiss

I playfully rolled my eyes as I wrapped my arms around his neck,feeling his hands on my waist sending shivers down my spine.I leaned in while he did the same,we placed our lips together.

"I love you..I'll be back" he says after pulling away,I gave him a weak smile but he quickly noticed it.I couldn't hide anything from this man,

"Baby please,you know I'm not the type to sit on my ass all day" he said,that's true,he actually likes to get up and do something productive.

"Yeah I know,just be careful..love you" I said causing him to peck my cheek before leaving my room,i flopped back on my bed exhaling deeply.

There were little knocks on the door,I quickly lift my head up to see my dad before he walked in with a light smile on his face "hey dad" I said while I sat up

"Hey hija,I just saw Robin leave" he says coming over and sitting on the edge of the bed,I nodded "yeah he's going out to try for a job" I told him

He raised his eyebrows "wow that kid doesn't give up huh?" He teased as I laughed "he reminds me of you" I said,he furrowed his eyebrows

"You always want to get up and work,you just wanna do something instead of doing nothing" I said,he chuckled as he locked his fingers together "yeah and who taught me that?" He asked

I lights smiled knowing the answer "mom" I whispered,he nodded "your mother always loved getting up and doing something useful whether that was cleaning up the house or doing things for you girls even if it wasn't needed" he explained as I scoffed

"Yeah I know,she always used to tell me to not be lazy and to do something like clean up my toys off the floor or clean inside my doll houses" I said,my dad let out a small laugh

"Yeah that's your mother all right" he says looking down at his lap,I know my dad misses her very much.They were basically soulmates even if they argued,but my dad always apologized and do the sweetest things for her.

"I wish your mother was here when Robin was in prison...she probably would've known what to say or do to you when you were devastated" he whispered,my heart broke

I hate when my dad thinks he's useless to us,he always stresses himself out thinking he doesn't know how to handle us or how to parent without my mom.

"Papa" I whispered as I moved closer to him "you actually helped me..you're there for me when I need you,you've held me while I've cry my eyes out"

He smiled as he placed his arm over my shoulder "thank you mi niña" he says as he kissed my temple

TIME SKIP/ROBIN POV

I've been to few different places,they obviously didn't take me cause either they were full or cause of my record.

I need to earn money some way and I know I don't want to earn it this way but there's no other options for me,this is my only choice

I gave Bruce's front door a couple of knocks,it was pulled open by Bruce's mom "oh hi Robin" she says with a pleasant smile

"Hey Mrs.Yamada,i was wondering if I can speak to Bruce?" I asked nicely

"Oh he's not here right now,he's at the park with some friends" she says before I nodded,I thanked her before immediately making my way to the park.

Bruce is a good friend of mine and knows me well,he knows I'm not doing this for fun but I'm doing this for someone else.But he also needs to understand that the minute I know what I want,I go for it and I gotta have it.

Later,I walked into the park as I saw Bruce and two or three friends of his that I don't know. "Bruceyyyyy" I sang with a grin as I walked closer raising my arms in the air so he can see me

He glanced at me,widening his eyes "oh shit" I saw him mouthed before taking off running,I immediately began to run after him "oh don't make this hard for you brucey!" I teased while following

We ran around the park before I ended up getting frustrated,I decided to run another way where I can meet up with him.

I hid behind a tree waiting for him,i then heard his running footsteps along with his heavy breathing.As he got closer,I placed my foot out making him successfully trip.

"Fuck" he whined hitting his face on the floor before I forced him to roll on his back now facing me,i then got on one knee over him before grabbing his shirt "you know why I'm here Yamada" I sternly spoke

"So be a good friend or I'm gonna make a home run with your face" I told him,he repeatedly nodded "I want in..got it?"

He just stared at me not giving me an answer,this is my friend and I can't hurt him or anything.This is also y/n's friend so I know this will piss her off,

I lift my arm up while making a fist causing him to widen his eyes "okay! Okay! Okay! Alright! You're in!"..

I'm doing somethinggggg🤭

I'm getting my schedule this week for school and I'm nervous,this is my last year in high school omg🤧
