ROBIN POV
"What the fuck you mean come with you-
"We can go together,tio would be able to do whatever he wants and not worry about us because we're together plus we can come and visit-
"What about y/n? I'm not leaving my girlfriend behind-
"She can come too-
"Um her dad? Her sister?"
"Shit" she said under her breath,she rubbed her forehead.I scoffed "I just got cool with her dad again,I don't want to go up to him and fuck it up again by taking his daughter away from him" I told her
"I know but think about it,you and y/n living together? The place to yourself-you can always visit her dad and ash" she says
I exhaled deeply "it doesn't sound bad..I mean I would enjoy having a place with y/n but at the same time we have always been here our whole life"
"But there's times where we have to get a great start and make new memories or whatever" she says,I rolled my eyes
I looked over at y/n watching her getting hugged by vale from behind while they were laughing,I didn't want to take this away from.Her family,her childhood everything
"..I'll think about it alright?" I said
She smirked before she reached out to grab my hand "thanks man"
Y/N POV
"Y'all so annoying" Ashley joked making us laugh "Gwen is there more juice?"
Gwen nodded and pointed to the cooler,Ashley sprinted over there
"Okay there's something I have to tell you guys but not in front of Ashley" vale blurted,I knitted my eyebrows
"Everything okay?" Gwen asked,vale slowly nodded before looking at me.Vale rubbed her button nose before clearing her throat
"Kris and I are thinking about leaving" she lowered her tone,Gwen and I shared looks "what do you mean leaving? Like leaving town? Forever?" Gwen spoke
"Not forever but..we do want to move out of town together,just have a new beginning you know? I mean we're growing up and we both have jobs that surprisingly pay well"
"But Kris is Robin's sister and they are close-he's gonna be pissed" I said,vale nodded
"I know but Kris said she'll talk to him when she gets the chance" she says while playing with her rings
"Ashley will be devastated.." Gwen whispered to me,I pushed my hair away from my face trying to figure out what's gonna happen
"So you're leaving Vance here?" I asked her,she thought for a few secs before shrugging "I know he's not going anywhere,he's gonna want to stay with our mom and I honestly don't think that's a bad idea" she says
"He hasn't been with her for years and he should be with her-
"He hasn't been with you for years either and you're leaving" I told her,she pressed her lips together "I know but..I don't want to be here anymore,all I can think about is what's happened to me" she speaks
She's not wrong,vale's been through so much here.
Her dad,what nick tried to do,she told me she even lost her best friend to an accident.
I don't blame her for wanting to leave but taking Kris? Robin would be so upset,I know they made a pact or some sort and they can't break it.
"Hey guys! The steak is done!" Finney yelled
Gwen sighed,she slightly shook her head before moving her eyes between us "come on" she says in a low tone
She walked away to where her brother was,I put my focus back on vale "I hope Kris finds a way to not make Robin pissed but..I think it's good for you guys to go away together and I wish you guys the best" I tell her with a reassuring smile
She exhaled out of relief before giving me a soft smile,I pulled her into a hug.We then followed Gwen after,I met with Robin
He looked uneasy and as if he had a lot on his mind,I went beside him and placed my hand on his arm to grab his attention
"You okay?" I asked,he quickly turned his gaze onto me.he gave me a weak smile before wrapping an arm around my waist to pull me closer
"Yeah baby I'll be okay" he spoke as he placed a kiss on my temple,i glance over at vale who walked up to Kris.Kris did the same as Robin,pulling her close with an arm but pressing her lips onto vale's
Robin and kris kept sharing looks but serious ones which worried me but I didn't want to get myself involved in something where Robin would be mad with me.
"You sure you okay?" I whispered to him causing him to lean his head down so he can hear me better which always made me feel some type of way.
"Yeah,just hungry" he says in calm tone "uh if you want,I can bring it to you if you go sit on the blanket" I told him
He nodded before walking over to the blanket,finney tried to give a piece to Kris but Kris gave him a look which made him let her get her own
I laughed,Kris then grabbed another piece for vale I love their relationship.I mean they're even thinking about leaving together
The gay couple then went to go sit down,I walked up to finney causing him to smile "hey y/n!" He says.I giggled seeing the excitement
"Hey finney,we're friends right?" I asked before he nodded "soo can you give me a big piece please? I'm sharing with Robin as well"
He chuckled "of course y/n" he placed a big piece onto my plate "corn?"
"Ugh yes please" my hispanic ass parents always taught Ashley and I to eat corn,the seasoning my dad puts though is the best
Finney placed a different corn onto my plate "I know you eat with more seasoning so I made one specifically for you"
"Aw thanks fin" I smiled
"You think Robin would like some ribs?" He asked,I repeatedly nodded to be dramatic since Robin loves them
He bursted out laughing "yeah i figured" he says as he placed some on my plate,enough for Robin and I. "Okay thanks finney" I told him
"Anytime y/n,remember you have a morning shift tomorrow" he says while pointing the pick up tool at me
"Yes I know" I groaned,i then walked to Robin who was sitting on the blanket looking at the water that's not too far from us.
I sat beside him "finney made ribs" I said,he then moved his gaze.his lips formed into a smirk "do you want to be with me forever?" He asks
My eyebrows furrowed as I nervously chuckled "yeah-yeah I do..do you?" He grabbed the plate away from me
"Until I die" he says,squinting his eyes a bit due to the bright sunlight which made him look so cute.I grinned while feeling the butterflies in my stomach start to spread
He took a rib and began munching,he always ate like a child but that's one of the things I love about him.I used the fork I had to pick it up,I began eating
"Kris is leaving town" he mumbled through his food,I stopped chewing.I'm guessing Kris already told him,she used this as an opportunity
"Yeah vale told me" I said,he flickers his eyes onto me "did she..say anything else?" He asks.I shook my head
"Just that they want a new beginning"
He finally finished the food in his mouth,his eyes wanted to say something but I couldn't figure it out "what?"
"Kris asked me..if I-um" he cleared his throat "if I wanted to go with them"
"Wait what?"
