ROBIN POV

I decided to meet with Vance,I wanted to be on good terms with him and I want him to come to the future barbecues at our new house.

I waited for Vance to show up,I sighed after I watch his car pull up.He parked across from my car that I was sitting in

I stepped out after seeing Vance doing the same,he glared at everyone else that was enjoying their time or watching others race

He slowly walked up to me "the fuck you want arellano" he sternly spoke

"A guy can't talk to his best pal" I said,he scrunched his face

"Cut the shit" he spat

"Alright asshole,I don't know if you heard but I'm moving out of town with y/n since my sister did"

His knitted brows immediately separated "are you fucking with me?"

"No hopper I'm not,I'm leaving and I want you to support me just like we been doing for years behind bars"

Finney is one of my best friends but Vance and I grew closer for obvious reasons,The rest knows I'm leaving and they believe it's a good idea.

We just shared looks "leaving this shitty town huh?" He chuckled,I nodded

"Well if you need help putting in furniture or whatever just give me a call" he says as he reached his hand out,I dabbed him up with a smirk

I felt a lot better knowing we're good,y/n would be proud of me when I tell her

"Hey uh..wanna step up one more time?" He asks referring to us racing each other

I smiled "you're on hopper"

Vance looked over to the guy that decides who races who,he signals him that it's us next.The guy nodded before motioning us to come forward

Vance and I quickly hopped into our cars,driving up to the starting line.The people surrounded cheered while making comments since we haven't been here awhile

I looked over at Vance who was focused on what's in front of him,we both ran our engine for the noise that was satisfying for us.

The girl walked in between our cars to do the countdown,I tighten my grip on the wheel now knowing it's gonna begin

"Good luck Arellano!" Vance shouted from his car "you're gonna need it!"

I scoffed before giving him the finger causing him to return one as well

The girl then started

"Ready"..

"Set"..

"Go!"

TIME SKIP/Y/N POV

I taped up the box before gently placing it on the floor,I opened my door closet to grab the rest of my shoes

I heard a knock on my bedroom door,I quickly turn my head seeing my dad

"Hey papa" I greeted

"Hola mija,I wanted to give you something" he says with a light smile "put your hand out and close your eyes"

I squealed since I always loved when he would do this when Ashley and I were kids.it was always money,toys,jewelry,or anything we've been begging for

I shut my eyes while reaching out,I felt him place something slightly cold but small into my hand

"Ya" he said,I blinked my eyes open before looking down

I grinned seeing a heart shaped necklace "aw pa it's beautiful" I said
