I fought back my smile seeing through the mirror that Robin is clearly not happy,he was watching me do my makeup for work.
"I don't know why you're getting all cute when it's just work" he says sitting up,letting the covers move down letting his bare chest be viable
"I'm getting cute for me,you know I only wear some makeup when I go out"
"Yeah going to work is not going out" he sternly said,I sighed as I finished.I turned to face him before placing my hands on my hips
"So?" I say referring to my look,he looked at my outfit "why are you wearing a shirt that shows you cleavage-I'm gonna fuck you up" he said
I giggled " babe it's something to wear under the uniform,they give me the uniform when I get there so it's fine"
He rolls his eyes "alright I'll drop you off" he says now getting up from bed
"No it's fine,finney is picking me up" I tell him,he looks taken back "the fuck you mean finney is picking you up" he scolded
"He's picking me up,he goes to work at this time-
"You're gonna work with Fin?" He says raising his eyebrows,i scoffed "yes Robin I'm working with finney"
He chuckled "whatever,just make sure he doesn't touch you and if he does for not too long or I'll rip his head off" he says
"He's your best friend Robin"
"I know that,which is why I'm not too worried but he knows his limits" he said,i shake my head before grabbing my shoes
"Why don't I give you something before you go to work" he whispered in a seductive voice ,i scrunched my face
"Robin now I'm all dressed-
"So?-
"So no.when I come back,maybe but that's if I'm not tired" I spoke,he sucked his teeth as he flopped back on the bed
A honk was heard outside "that's finney,I gotta go" I said,I leaned down puckering my lips causing Robin to quickly grab my jaw to place a wet kiss
"Have a good first day and you know if anyone fucks with you-
"To call you,yes I know" I snickered
TIME SKIP
I put on the reddish vest with my name tag,I smirked to myself thinking I look good.I walked out the back,making my way to the registers
"Hey finney,how do I look?" I asked him since he's at the register next to mine,he shift his gaze onto me
"Look nice" he says in a soft tone,I smiled as I walked behind the register "nervous?"
"A little but I got it" I told him,he nodded
"If you need help,I'm right here" he reassured,I nodded while I played with my rings.
Customers came along and honestly it's been good,I don't really like talking to strangers but since it's my job I have no other choice.I'm getting more comfortable talking now
Finney and I will just send each other faces depending on the type of customers we will have or just because,I'm really starting to like this job.
I'm working with someone I know,it's easy,the math messes me up a bit but I can get better I know it.A guy comes up to register placing his items,I gave him a pleasant fake smile
I scan his items "18.25" I told him,he nodded before giving me quick glances nervously laughing.I just fake smiled trying not to be rude
"Uh sorry,here" he says giving me a twenty "keep the change"
"Okay have a good one" I said,he smirked at me as he examined me with his eyes up and down.I ignored it since I might never see him again and I had a feeling I would be wrong
I look up and finney with widen eyes,he chuckled before looking back at the items he was scanning for his customer.
VALE POV
I cleared my throat as I placed the keys into the door,luckily I leave work early today so my shift isn't going to be long.I turned the key
"Vale?" I heard,I turned my head seeing Ashley
"Hey ash,what's up" I spoke.She sighed as she walked closer "I'm sorry for egging Vance's car thinking it was yours" she says
My eyebrows furrowed "why did you want to egg my car if I had one?" I asked
She just stood there,looking guilty as she slowly rubbed her palms together.She sighed "I was mad cause Kris choose to be with you instead of me" she murmured
I smirked as I pulled the door open "ash you gotta let it go,someone is out there for you but unfortunately Kris is my someone" I told her
Her face turned blank "what are you trying to say?" She asked
"That you need leave Kris alone when it comes to us,she's not happy with you" I said
"Yeah well..what if I don't stay away from her-
"Im not telling you to stay away from her-I'm telling you to leave her alone if you're just gonna keep complaining us"
"Nobody is worried about you,you think my world revolves around Kris?" She snapped
"That's what it seems like-I mean for Christ's sake you cried your eyes out at my party just because I gotten this?" I said lifting my hand showing the ring Kris gave me
The ring is a promise ring Kris states,she knows it's early to give me one but she's promising for her to be the best girlfriend and treating me like a princess.
Ash scoffed "oh a ring? Whatever,that don't mean she's serious-
"Oh you want me to show you the hickeys she left me where she loves it?" I say tapping my clothed heat,her eyes slightly squinted
"Can't forget about these right?" I say cupping my breasts,she began walking towards me "not another step y/l/n" I pointed at her with the keys in my hand
She then backed up giving me a glare "I'm gonna give you advice ash,don't fight for someone who wouldn't do the same for you..cause you're wasting your time"
She sighed "I don't know why I'm so attached.." she whispered as she looked down at the concrete
"..Because it's Kris" I told her
Y'all thought vale and ash were gonna fight? Vale is too mature for that..maybe
