I'm surrounded by fog and the smell of the salty air overwhelms me as I stare over the cliffs edge, the angry waves smashing against the cliffs rocky bottom in warning of the painful death awaiting me if I'm not careful.

"Come be with me." A voice filters through the salty air, making me spin away from the cliffs edge in an attempt to find the person who's voice had just spoken to me.

"Where am I?" I ask bravely, my voice sounding more confident than how I feel in this moment as fear grips me in it's steel grasp.

"You know what you must do Delilah. Come and find us." A new voice echos through the fog making my bones rattle and I shiver as I wrap my arms around myself as if it would protect me from the growing feeling inside my chest.

"Be with us." Another voice calls and I continuously spin around trying to figure out where all the different voices are coming from but nothing stands out amongst the fog surrounding me like a blanket.

Suddenly arms entangle themselves around my waist and a feeling of knowing travels through me at the arms welcoming embrace, a head lands on my shoulder and I feel the face of the person holding me run their face through the side of my throat.

"You know where I am. Come and find me beautiful." The voice says softly before the voice and presence of arms around  me disappear and I'm falling backwards.

I spring forward with a gasp falling from my lips as my eyes rapidly look over the small room surrounding me.

I quickly realize I'm in my bedroom and my hand lands on my mouth as I try to process whatever it was that I'd just experienced.

It was a dream, but it felt so real that I can't be sure if I'm awake or still asleep.

A pull forms in my chest as I remove my hand from my mouth and a need to follow the pull over whelms me as I stand from my bed and quickly change my clothes.

It wasn't exactly safe in Santa Carla, and no way was I going to walk around in nothing but a night gown.

To prove that fact, I pinch myself.

When I don't spring awake I know then and there I'm awake.

I quickly get out of bed and change into the clothes I'd worn to work the night before back on, and shove my feet into my boots with the growing pull only worsening as I prolong my adventure to god knows where.

'Come to us Delilah.' A voice rings inside my head, and I grow enough confidence to call out to the voice inside my own head.

"Who's there?" I ask but get no response.

"I'm definitely going insane." I whisper to myself as I quickly make my way from my house and towards the woods where the pull inside my chest intensifies even more.

The border of the tree's making this entire experience even worse as the woods are wrapped in a blanket of looming darkness and danger.

The lack of alarm bells in my head confusing me as I step foot into the edge of the trees and I wrap my arms around myself if somehow they'd protect me from the chilly air surrounding me.

'Almost there.' A voice says inside my head again and I try to ignore it as I walk what feel like forever aimlessly through the dark trees surrounding me.

My only guidance is the pull inside my chest that's leading me further and further from the protection of both civilization and light.

I walk for a while longer, the voice inside my head seeming to change every once in a while between one voice and the next. If I hadn't known any better, I would swear the voices sound familiar.
