The Rider Chronicles take a turn, in both point of view, and time, as we are taken aback to the birth of a little one, getting answers to unanswered questions, left by the prior books of the series.
We get to see Sky's ups, and downs, torments and victories, heartbreaks and breakdowns. All the while we get intresting character development, a view of the impossible happening in front of our eyes, and more about the past, and what really happened, in the form of flashbacks and tell-tales.

Took the heat from Flame,
He, who swallowed their fate.
He, who battled Existence,
He, who took the lives of their presence.
He, who took darkness from Night,
And laughs from Life.
Merciless, skeletonal entity,
That's all Hollow is.
Cold from Ice, he stole,
Depending on the Livings' souls.
Their screams left him starved,
Light from Day, he mauled.
He took blow from Winds,
And cool from the Waters' endless abyss
Born into the Underworld,
All breathed their last words,
As Hollow ate their life.
As they watched, waiting for someone to fight his might.
