Gentle Giants, herbivores of height,
Or ferocious, truck-sized frights.
Dinosaurs have a place in my heart;
For they are truly smart,
Not lying to themselves who they are.
Knowing their limits, they're not just a sitting orange,
Believing in themselves, with courage,
Matching a hundred lions',
For them, nothing is impossible.
Overlong claws, dragged-out,
Just as it would drag out guts,
For giving respect to them, most have not.
Different bodies, and different traits; there's lots,
But all fit into The same slot;
They have once lived; breathing air,
So we shall give them well-deserved respect.
Though, it's kinda sad they're dead..
