Vincent pulled the book away from Alexa's face who was sleeping soundly enough, correcting Alexa's sleeping position which was not good for her spine. Vincent loves her in his own way, and there's a reason why he cares.

Mikaelson's magic and the devil's blood inside her add to his magic power, becomes stronger and sometimes gets out of control, so it's easier to make her happy than angry. Because if she gets angry, all his magic will come out and make a mess.

Freya walked towards Alexa's bedroom door, saw Vincent fixing the book and Alexa's sleeping position

"She's always like that?" asked Freya

"Always, sometimes the worse part because she always wakes up in the middle of the night" Vincent said

"Nightmare for 11 years has not changed Freya, always hurts" said Vincent

They walked out of Alexa's room, to their respective rooms. Waiting for morning to come. Alexa always has strong nightmares after many years, the death of her mother along with her grandparents has traumatized her for many years. It grows even with the same pain.

Alexa woke up with heavy breathing, she had another bad dream. And this time it really really hurts.

"That again..." Alexa said to herself

She always heard scream after scream, the same pain made her sick.

Alexa got off her bed, walked to the kitchen to get a drink, her hands were still a little shaking.

"Hey, Alexa, are you okay?" asked Vincent

Alexa didn't answer, she fell into Vincent's arms. Vincent immediately knew that Alexa had the same nightmare.

"Hey, it's not your fault it happened okay" Vincent said

"Hmm" Alexa said

"Wanna go to the room?" asked Vincent

"Hmm" Alexa replied again

Vincent brings Alexa into the room, the girl has had fears that should be true for years. Vincent remained there until he was sure that the nightmare was not happening again. He wasn't really sure that Alexa could be calm around any Mikaelson, they all had an intimidating aura that sometimes made her uncomfortable.

"I'm really not sure if she can be around Mikaelson now, when she's like this" Vincent thought

In the morning, Alexa woke up earlier which actually after Vincent left she woke up again. She couldn't sleep after that. She didn't even want to close his eyes because of that.

"You look tired, are you okay?" Freya asked over breakfast

"I'm fine, just... Lack of sleep" Alexa said

"You woke up again last night?" asked Vincent

"Twice" Alexa said

Alexa was still yawning, she really wanted to sleep but there was work waiting for her. Even though Pandora was there, she would always do her tasks, after all, if Pandora was the one doing it, the results were always the same, messy. But she didn't want to trouble his cousin.

"You can go back to sleep, I'm sure Alec wouldn't mind you missing a day" Vincent said

Alexa didn't answer because she had fallen asleep at the dining table. She was really tired. Vincent just shook his head slightly.

"She's really tired huh" Freya said

"Nightmare will always be a problem" Vincent said

"I'll take him to Freya's room" Vincent said
