'What was supposed to be a night of enjoyment and fun turned into absolute chaos when shots were fired at people in one of Chicago's most beloved speakeasies. This incident occurred at night at Gloria's bar. The police have not yet found the perpetrators behind this crime which has killed three people and injured six people. The strangest thing discovered was that the shooter used specially made wooden bullets.......'

Alexa looked down at the paper and read the article further. The paper was old for obvious reasons and worn and covered in dust but she was able to read the article without difficulty.

She was confused, why was this highlighted? Why do they have this newspaper in the first place? She searched the internet for more information but it was all pretty much the same. There was not enough evidence to hold anyone responsible, although there were suspects. But they didn't have a solid alibi so they weren't arrested.

The case was closed and no one knew who the real perpetrator was.

The use of wooden bullets is strange. But what does this have to do with anything? Who keeps this paper? Why do they keep it? If the newspaper really belonged to one of the Mikaelsons then why would they care about the gunfight? Do any of them have a fetish for chronicling the violence occurring in the country? They don't seem to fit into the category of concerned civilians.

Alexa wondered if she should ask someone about this. Maybe Marcel or Freya. But Alexa isn't stupid as they might ask, so she has to do this without attracting attention. He actually stole the paper, he didn't want to know what would happen if he was caught.

The next thing that came to his mind was a sketch of the woman, the hummingbird woman must be important. Why else would Niklaus sketch him? Maybe an ex? Niklaus Mikaelson isn't exactly boyfriend material. Of course he's handsome and even charming. But lover? That seems almost impossible. He couldn't imagine him being close to someone, truly caring for someone more than himself.

Alexa got out of bed and took the laptop from her desk. He looked for something on the internet. The hummingbird, the smallest of all birds, symbolizes lightness, speed, independence, courage, sensitivity, determination, love, beauty, endurance, wisdom, vitality, hope, and enjoyment of life.

Wow.

The hummingbird lady must be more than important because clearly, Niklaus isn't keeping it subtle at all. Alexa thought for a moment, it was almost midnight. Niklaus and Kol were out because he saw them both leaving an hour ago. So the only people present were Vincent, Freya, Rebekah, and Elijah.

She was sure Vincent and Freya were asleep, the only people he had to worry about were Elijah and Rebekah.

Rebekah is a mystery. Alexa could only think that there was something more to those fierce eyes. But didn't comment on him.

She wondered if the family had ever had anyone who was nice to them or if they were nice to anyone. Freya and Elijah were nice to her, but she noticed the way the guards didn't even dare look at the two of them.

She wasn't stupid to believe that being around them was safe, so she was very careful about the things she asked because one time she asked Freya about the person who taught her magic, and in an instant, the warmth in Freya's eyes replaced by a cold, distant gaze. She never made the same mistake twice.

Alexa reached into her pocket where she kept all her stationery and took out her favorite pen that Vincent gave her on her 9th birthday.

She put it in his trouser pocket along with her phone and walked out.

Alexa keeps looking around to make sure no one is nearby. She stood in front of the warehouse and opened the door steadily, avoiding making any noise. She entered the room and closed the door behind her.
