The atmosphere of the house is much warmer inside, Alexa is lucky that she recently made her hair a wolf cut, not too long but enough not to be hot.
As he walked further into the house, he easily caught his attention by a man in a business suit looking directly at him who reminded him of Raphael, and somehow he did in this weather. With perfectly styled hair and a posture that was a bit too stiff for normal people.
The facial features are harsh, but that doesn't make him handsome. He looked so startled, if he didn't know better then he would have thought he was a doctor or a lawyer.
Alexa wondered if all those horrible stares were hereditary because it gave her the creeps a little.
Freya glanced between the two of them, she put her hand on Alexa's shoulder.
"Alexa, this is Elijah" Freya said
Alexa knew that name, she held out her hand. Elijah smiled at her.
"Nice to meet you," Alexa said
Alexa wasn't too sure about the polite attitude she gave, but she slightly remembered her mother's little note. He was a little stiff in the handshake. Almost believing that Elijah kept staring at her.
Elijah cleared his throat slightly and said –
"Nice to meet you too, I think your flight was fine" Elijah said
He spoke as if he owned the words, in a high-pitched voice and moreover with a thick British accent. He smiled a little and took her hand
Alexa could see the vulnerability in his eyes, it made Alexa feel a little weird. That smile was a stark contrast to her entire body. As if he was trying not far away. For a man that's a killer stare, soft.
"Yeah, that's fine" Alexa said
Vincent and Freya watched them closely, Vincent really wanted this to work, because he knew Alexa never felt that she was born from her father and mother, because of the difference in the color of their eyes. Moreover, Alexa is further different from her parents. Vincent believes that he wants Alexa to realize who she really is.
Freya came in and gave Alexa a little nudge. He was really desperate to make Alexa like them. That made Alexa a little bit happy because she wasn't the only one who wanted to make a bad impression the first time they met.
Alexa's attention shifted to the other man. He could feel the man watching him curiously. He uses Henley, something different from Elijah that reminds her of Simon Lewis.
He was quite tall with sandy blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. A relaxed but not sloppy posture. He held the glass in one hand in the same way as his posture. Casual but not sloppy.
"It's Niklaus" Freya said
Niklaus gave a warm and friendly smile. Which made Alexa frown because she knew it wasn't sincere.
"Hello" Alexa said holding out her hand hesitantly.
Klaus held her hand. He didn't say anything but just kept looking at her as if he was something and kept figuring it out. He narrowed his eyes at Alexa. The eye contact focused on her gave Alexa goosebumps but she didn't look away. There was something telling his eyes not to do anything.
Is this staring competence?
"Interesting" Klaus said
Klaus let go of his hand, his smile replaced by a light one, Alexa liked that more than his smile. While Elijah's voice was a little thin then Klaus was melodious and thick.
"Nice to finally meet you, Alexa" Klaus said
Goosebumps were the exact reason why she felt really uncomfortable with the way Klaus called her.
"This is my sister Rebekah" Klaus said
Alexa just realized that there was someone else on her left, a sofa with someone sitting on it.
Beautiful can't even describe the woman's appearance. Turning off is a bit more accurate. Now Alexa knows why her mother noted that Rebekah was Killer Barbie because that's exactly what she saw now.
Rebekah restrained herself with a gracious authorization that Alexa already knew. Sharp but guarded eyes. She scanned Alexa from head to toe, but saying nothing, she returned to his ring.
Niklaus cleared his throat, drawing Alexa's attention from the slight pressure.
"I'm sorry, honey. Rebekah is very rude here" Klaus said
Rebekah just glared at him in response before focusing back on her ring.
"Hi darling"
She was a little surprised, without realizing it she gripped Elijah's hand with one hand, she really didn't like the way and tone of voice.
"Kol!" Freya screamed
Kol burst out laughing at Alexa's terrified face.
"Come on sister, I'm just greeting our Little devil" Kol said
Little Devil.
Once again Alexa did not like the call. A past about calling it u have caused her to experience mental health problems. Alexa tried to find something in the pocket of her denim jacket.
She gripped Elijah's arm even tighter, Elijah stood between Alexa and Kol. He felt a sudden urge to protect Alexa.
Vincent stood on the other side of him, he glared at Kol, his eyes telling him to back off.
Kol looks at Alexa in amusement. In a second Alexa could feel that her eyes were starting to narrow at him as if challenging her.
Alexa really doesn't like the way Kol does it. She reached for something from the pocket of his jacket, the warm air only making it colder inside.
She looked for the medicine, his breathing quickened when Kol saw her.
"I suggest you watch your back here honey, we vampires love young blood" Kol said in a low tone.
Cracked..
The sound of Kol's neck being snapped only craved a death breath for her. Alexa watched with wide eyes how Kol fell to the ground lifeless.
"I apologize for my brother's rude behavior dear. Kol has a full habit of bothering people" Klaus said
This wasn't the first time Alexa had seen someone's neck broken only it was worse for her now.
"What did I just miss?"
It was Marcel's voice, Alexa knew it. He just came in. Niklaus glanced at Freya.
"Now sister please escort our guest to their honorable room."
Alexa had dropped the medicine in her hand, Vincent noticed that, so he quickly picked it up and put it on Alexa's jacket again. Now Alexa really felt heavy shortness of breath.
