Chapter 14: Sideways

(Note: Sorry for the long wait. Had such a long writing hiatus, haven't I? Haha! So I apologize, I don't like it when I stop)

A few days later, Varian began to grow like always, Night with her train with Optimus, and Bee with his mysterious list.

"Why didn't you say goodbye..? Why did you leave..?"

Starburst opens his eyes wide gasping a bit from the voice he heard in his head while sitting on the ground like he was meditating. He looked left and right to see if anyone was around. Starburst's height was like Grimlock's height, but a few inches taller than him. Star has secondary arms aka four arms and four clawed hands. During his past, he left his best friend without saying a word and was never seen or heard again which made Starburst feel bad. Star had lost his feelings and emotions years ago after the mishap.

Night sees him, but was too concentrated in his mind. So, she walked away quietly the other way. As she walked a bit far enough, she sees Strongarm going up the fence like she was coming back from somewhere which made Night a bit confused. Which made it more confusing is that Sideswipe was waiting to catch Strongarm in the act.

"Hey, Strongarm. Nice day-- for sneaking back into the base, that is...!", Sideswipe said.

"I wasn't! I was just on patrol!"- Strongarm

The look on Sideswipe's face looked like he wasn't buying it, on every lie she said. Nightmare was getting concerned that he was a bit manipulative. Strongarm was relieved that Sideswipe wasn't going to tell Bee, but there were catches. "And they do other favors-- pretty much whenever they're asked", he said and Strongarm wasn't happy about it. So Night went to intervene. "Alright, enough you two. I heard everything", she looked at both of them.

"Ma'am, you're not going to tell Bee, are you?", Strongarm was a little worried knowing an adult heard and probably saw too.

"No, I'm not gonna say anything to Bee-- and neither is Sideswipe...!", Night looked at Sideswipe seriously.

"You're supposed to be a 'helpful' teammate-- not a 'manipulative and taking advantage' teammate or that ain't getting us anywhere", Night continued to look at Sideswipe, but he was annoyed. She walks away and so did Strongarm, walking by her side.

"Thanks, ma'am. How did you do that?", she asked surprised.

"Oh trust me, I had to deal with something like that back on Cybertron and my children, like 'calm down, we're supposed to work together', something like that", Night chuckles a bit. In the middle of the scrapyard, Bee had a lot on his mind knowing that there hasn't been a decepticon activity in a while, he needed to relax. He suddenly became startled when Denny and Fixit came along. The others began to arrive to them. Denny and Fixit completely fixed two Decepticon hunters and gave them to Sideswipe and Strongarm. Nightmare was impressed, looking at the hunter.

Sideswipe came up with a sword, while Strongarm came up with a blaster gun. "Mind if I try it out for a second?", Night asked. Strongarm handed it to her and what was on a Night's mind surprised the team a bit. The decepticon hunter created a long, electric, blue energon lasso. It was a dino bot and two regular autobot feet long. "Well, haven't seen you in a while, you beauty", Night smiles a bit and hands the weapon back to Strongarm while the team was still in shock.

"Man, wish I had a decepticon hunter", Varian said.

"Maybe you will one day, son", Night rubbed his head.

Suddenly, a decepticon signal goes off which startled Bee again. The location was in the sewers, "The signal's coming from under Crown city, in the flood control tunnels", Bee walked away, but his team looked at him like he forgot say something.
